My stay at the Center was a great experience. The work contained mostly walking with the dogs and entertaining them, which i really enjoyed. We also help with different task around the property. The free time was perfect to relax around the property, do some yoga or explore Antigua and the region around like volcano Acatenango (the walks with the dogs will prepare you perfectly for a volcano hike). Sterling was a great host. He always ensured our well being and made me feel really comfortable and welcomed. I'm really grateful for this wonderful experience at the Center. Thank you so much.

Volunteering at the Center was a great experience. Sterling is a super nice guy. He made me feel very welcome at his place. Even when I got sick he took great care of me. The work we had to do was extremely manageable and never boring. As a bonus we got to cuddle with his super sweet dogs. The daily walks with the dogs kept me fit and prepared me excellent for the hike to volcano Acatenango. Sterling also took us to Antigua whenever we needed to go. The property is also great to just relax and calm down in the hammock he set up for us.Overall it was a great experience and I had a lot of fun

I had a Great few weeks here. I was so happy to hep finish some projects that were ongoing. My hosts were very welcoming and were willing to help with anything I needed and shared a lot of valuable information. As were the local workers that work on the property. The dogs were amazing and I'm missing them already. I will return next time I'm in Guatemala. Good luck with the progress of your project and I hope to see yous again soon.

Sterling and Dania were wonderful hosts! I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating and welcoming environment, I had a great time helping out at their property and playing with their amazing dogs Drax, Echo and Pepita. Their property is very rural with an incredible view of Antigua and what an amazing experience to live on a volcano! Thank you again for a wonderful time and for trusting me with your dogs :)

Me encantó! El entorno es súper tranquilo en que la única distracción era jugar con los perros, fue genial desconectar un poco de las redes sociales. El trabajo es muy ameno y en mi caso personal me ayudó a desbloquear mi creatividad que hacía tiempo que no conseguía. Los anfitriones están muy pendientes de la comodidad de los voluntarios, siempre dispuestos a llevarte al centro o traerte lo que necesites. Convivir y hablar con los trabajadores es un plus. Recomiendo mucho esta experiencia (pero no te esperes llegar a un hotel con todas las comodidades)

I had a great experience with Stirling, his partner and the other volunteers during my time there. The property has an incredible view, with everything you need to be comfortable in a basic fashion. I believe it's added to my life to live off-grid for a bit and highly recommend this place to new volunteers. You'll eat avocados everyday, hike with the dogs and be able to have some time to connect with personal projects in a meditative setting. It's hard to access without a lift from someone on the property but I didn't find this posed much of an issue. Highly recommend!

I had a good time at the project! The view from the property on the volcanos and the city is stunning. The place is remote but great to relax and get in touch with nature. Sterling and Dani are very welcoming and great people. I also fell in love with their energetic dogs and enjoyed the daily walks up the volcano. But be warned, the place is dusty so you will get very dirty, there's no way around that. All in all I would definitely recommend, thank you for the experience!

I really enjoyed my time with sterling and dania! the tasks included a lot of time with the dogs and a bit of painting, the hours were always respected and you were encouraged to do something in your free time! sterling always made sure we were good and had everything we needed there is a lot of dust in the dry season so be ready to be dirty. it's a great experience for everyone who wants a break from the city life and enjoys peace and silence! the video call sterling does with everyone before they come provides you with every info you might need so you're not gonna get thrown in cold water
