Had an absolutely amazing time at the guest house! The hostel itself is the perfect place to settle down for a month, with a great common space and comfy beds! Location-wise, everything you might need is a stone's throw away, with a big supermarket, Don Quixote and combinis around the corner :) Takeo-san and Madoka-san are the friendliest people you will meet and will take you out for a bbq or karaoke evening, which were a lot of fun! The work itself is very easy and we fell into a comfortable routine very quickly! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend everyone to come stay here :))

I had an amazing stay at the guest house! The work was easy and done in three hours, so you had the day off. Sometimes Madoka San and Takeo San would make lunch or take us somewhere to eat which was amazing. Madoka San made the place feel like home which made my trip unforgettable!! It was my first time volunteering somewhere so I can definitely recommend this place! Also it's not far away from the train station and is In a great location!

I couldn't be more grateful to Takeo-san and Madoka-san for welcoming me to the guest house. I stayed there for 3 months and the time really flew by! They are kind people, willing to discover other cultures as well as share their own: we had takoyaki, okonomiyaki and sushi party at the hostel! The work was the same as the description and it was easy, we always finished on time which left the whole day to discover the city (or, as Osaka is central, the others around !!). I felt at home during this volunteering and will always be grateful for it! Thank you very much ❤️

Amazing experience from start to finish. Didnt know what to expect but I definitely left with much more than anticipated. It was my first experience volunteering but I know it was great. Everything was new but felt weirdly familiar. cant wait to be back! The staff from the hostel was nothing less than caring loving and funny. The guest house, was a great experience, they were always very Clearly with the tasks and we felt like in home, always comfortable and happy. The hostel is nice and clean, we were in a only girls room which was nice. The hostel have a great location to meet the City and to meet local people.☺️🤍 Thanks for our time there.

Had a wonderful experience volunteering here. I really felt home, the location is great, the balance private time and be with others is perfect, great facilities, and met local people and experiences local activities. I will come back whenever I am back in Osaka!

My stay at the guest house in Osaka was disappointing. I was sometimes criticized for minor mistakes or blamed for others' errors, while other issues were handled inconsistently. Promised amenities, like bicycles, were removed due to another volunteer's mistake. Training was poor and unclear, and staff had very limited English, making communication nearly impossible. Expectations were inconsistent and rules seemed to change depending on who was performing them, adding further confusion.
