My experience in the the guest house was amazing. Manuela, Sao and Gonçalves made me feel not like a volunteer or worker but part of their family from day one. They cared for us until the very last day. It was by far my best volunteering experience and I truly couldn't recommend it more. The tasks were simple, mainly reception or housekeeping and we never had any problems. I will definitely return soon, I know now I have a second family in Portimão ❤️🇵🇹.

I had a really great time at the the guest house. The Team is very fun and welcoming. Tasks are very straightforward and simple. There is plenty of free time to discover Portimão and the Algarve after work. This was the perfect first volunteering experience!

This work exchange was a lovely experience. The accomodation and location were very nice, the owners and manager were very friendly amd welcoming and I learned tons of portuguese from them in just a few short weeks. The work was reasonable and the work hours were always respected. I really recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic immersive experience in Portugal or just a friendly work exchange by a beautiful beach :)

Myguest House fue mi primera experiencia como voluntaria y la disfrute mucho. Manuela y Goncalves fueron lo mas amorosos hosts, mi compañeros voluntarios Nico, Balta y Ava hicieron que disfrute y me divierta mucho, y debo hacer mencion especial a mi amiga y compañera Sao. El lugar es hermoso, las tareas son super amenas, hay mucho tiempo libre para disfrutar de la piscina y la playa; pero lo mas lindo es la gente que hizo de Myguest House un hogar este tiempo. Vine por 15 dias y termine quedandome 45! Hermosa experiencia, muchas gracias a mi nueva familia portuguesa<3

Foi uma ótima experiência, fiquei durante um mês na the the guest house é só tenho a agradecer a Nela, São e Gonçalves. Fui muito bem recebido e tive uma experiência muito positiva, a casa é realmente confortável. A cidade é linda e possui tudo muito próximo, como supermercados, restaurantes e praias. Super recomendo esse voluntariado.

It was a great experience. Manuela, her husband and São are very kind and accommodating, you just have to do your job well and everything is going very well. The house is super nice and you have plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings and the pool ;)! The other volunteers also made this experience very pleasant. Thank you very much

Volunteering at the the guest house was a rewarding experience that I'm truly thankful for. The tasks were straightforward, and we never worked beyond the scheduled 5 hours. However, work times were sometimes announced last minute, so flexibility is key if you decide to volunteer here. Aside from that, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and communication with the host was always very good. They are very caring about their volunteers feeling comfortable and safe. I also formed a lasting friendship with another volunteer, which made the experience even more memorable! Thanks for everything

Fue mi primer voluntariado, y sinceramente fue una experiencia espectacular. Desde la llegada al hostel hasta mi salida fue increíble. Gracias Manuela por abrirme las puertas de tu hermoso hostel y confiar en mí durante este mes. Gracias también a São, Soledad, Gonçalves y Balta por el hermoso trato que recibí durante toda mi estadía. Es un grupo de trabajo hermoso. También tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Fer, otra voluntaria, con la que nos llevamos muy bien y hasta pudimos conocer toda la zona del Algarve juntas! Las tareas son como esperaba, sencillas y te guian durante todo el proceso!

Fue mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers y no podria haber sido mejor. Desde el primer minuto Manuela me hizo sentir como en casa, siempre atenta y disponible a las necesidades del equipo de voluntarios asi como tambien al debido respeto que todos merecemos ante situaciones mas dificiles que se pudieron presentar. Me senti cuidada y valorada durante toda mi estadia. Sobre el trabajo, habia dias mas corridos que otros pero nunca estuve sola, tal como me aclaro Manuela el dia que la contacte haciendo referencia a las tareas. Super recomiendo conocer MyGuestHouse! Ja tenho saudades
