Make no mistake, you hike a lot here and you are constantly busy. But if you embrace it, you will have an incredible time. No two hikes are ever completely the same, you spend so much time outdoors in truly jaw dropping locations and the team that you live with truly becomes a sudo-family after a while. In terms of facilities, it's worth mentioning that there is no fridge and you purchase filtered water for yourself but I see it as a more than fair trade for everything you are given in return. There are even bonus business around Leon that offer discounts too! Unforgettable and unmissable!

I had a great time volunteering with the camping! The other guides are great and really easy to get along with. Great opportunity to meet both international travellers and locals, so a great option if you're looking to improve language skills. You're kept very busy with doing hikes almost everyday, but this is perfect and means you're never bored.

This is an awesome place to volunteer. You get plenty of downtime to enjoy León and the team is very nice. The volcanoes are beautiful and the work is fun. You get great meals too. If you are a female please be cautious. Not all, but some of the men are not respectful towards woman to the same standard you may be used to. I had a very uncomfortable encounter with a staff member and it was not the first time with that staff member. It was handled very well when I went to management so I would still recommend the experience, just keep your wits about you. Be extra safe.

Has the best month at the camping! Got to walk many of the Nicaragua volcanoes including San Cristobal, used the free beach shuttle for countless beach trips and had many nights socialising and partying. Met loads of amazing people from all around the world. The guides and staff at the camping are all super bubbly and fun and the bosses are really chill. If you love the outdoors and socialising then this is heaven! Thanks the camping

This place was a piece of everything, I met lovely locals, lovely travellers as well. It felt like I am a part of the big family, I got a really good chance to socialising. Tony and the guides were so helpful, thank you guys! At the same time I had amazing experiences, I had connection with nature, lovely camping tours, beautiful sunsets, beautiful sunrises. I am so happy to come here and enjoy Nicaragua! Hasta la próxima!

Volunteering here has been an amazing experience! If you enjoy socializing, exploring nature, and maybe a bit of partying, this is the perfect place. The people have been so friendly, and the memories unforgettable. The house is comfortable, and the guides are kind and really try to get to know you. You work hard, but every day you're out in nature doing something different. They consider your interests when making the schedule—whether it's camping, hiking, or joining the party bus. You also get two meals a day and real experiences with locals. Highly recommend!

If you want to see a different the camping every day, this volunteering project is definitely for you! I had a great time, worked with an amazing team, and had so much fun. I learned a lot about volcanoes and met wonderful people. It was so enjoyable to discover something new every day and appreciate the beauty of nature.
