This hostel felt like a home, its small but cozy, I was in the female bedroom, mezzanine but usually its not fully booked so it felt like a private room, the male one perhaps is full of people often. The guests stays for long periods so you can really get into know people there, cook together and walk the city! Since the place is small, the tasks are simple and you spend only 1 or 2 hours helping here and after that you have the rest of the day free. The internet works great and its really fast, also the place is really warm so you won't have any troubles with the winter... thank you!!

I spent three weeks here - it was a great experience. I usually had my tasks done within 2 hours - there were days I did extra tasks (my choice - I cleaned out the utensil drawers and organized them, no one asked me to, I just wanted to. My OCD was kicking in and I needed to clean to alleviate that). The guests were very respectful and, for the most part, kept the shared areas tidy. I had no issues with anyone - we all got along and I met some lovely people while here. I would definitely recommend others coming here. It's in a great location and lots of places around to see.

I volunteered here for a month, and from the very first day everything was clearly explained. My main tasks were cleaning the rooms and common areas. The atmosphere was calm and stress-free ✨, and I was able to do my work peacefully without any pressure. It was an enjoyable and positive experience. I truly recommend it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️— in the mornings you work, and in the afternoons you have plenty of free time to explore the city. The owner is very kind and always willing to help.

Working at the hostel was easy. When I arrived, I was told what needed to be done (mainly cleaning social areas for a couple of hours) and noone bothered me or was behind me. There's lots of free time to visit the city or nearby towns. I would definitely recommend it and go there again.

I stayed here for about two weeks and had a really nice experience. The owner is super kind and generous, I'm really thankful for how welcoming he was from day one. The hostel is small and cozy, so you feel at home quickly. Tasks are the hostel and easy to handle, which leaves plenty of free time to explore Budapest. The vibe in the hostel is generally calm. The other staff member is not very social, so if you're expecting a big family-like interaction, it might feel a bit distant. But if you're more independent and just want a relaxed place to volunteer, you'll be fine here.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering in the hostel. The hostel was cozy and pleasant, ideally located near Keleti Station, and just a short walk from the city center. This was exactly what I was looking for. This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great. I wanted to visit, explore Budapest, explore the surrounding areas, and was able to. The host was always available to answer any questions and I was able to enjoy my time here while volunteering. I was granted the leisure of completing the duties/task at my own designated time as long as I completed them daily. I was able to establish my own routine and enjoy my time. It was a great experience.

I had a best time experience volunteering at the hostel. Tamás the owner is very kind and considerate person. Also not forget the manager name Bolazs always be patient with me. The work (making website) went smoothly since the host (Tamás) was very flexible as long as I got the work done. This gave a lot of flexibility to work while exploring the city which was good. Tamás is really nice and respectful as well and interacting with him was always pleasant. Since there's a lot of long term guests we bonded a lot and drank and ate together too. Cons: mainly the receptionist is rude and always acts annoyed at your questions or is rude when asking you to do things which just makes everyone very uncomfortable. Also the place is a bit dim (minor point).
