Need an All around Handyman for our surfcamp
Das Erlebnis
We are a small surfcamp located in Guanico, Panama. A very remote place that is surrounded by nature and jungle sounds.
Throughout of the year we always need some motivated volunteers who can help us with some handy and maintenance work.
Your main duties are:
- simple repairment
- wood work (Sanding, cutting)
- gardening (mowing the lawn, cleaning)
- painting

Bauen & Reparieren: Hilf bei verschiedenen Reparatur- oder Bauarbeiten.
Gartenarbeit: Hilf beim Pflanzenanbau und der Gartenpflege
Was Sie bekommen
2 freie Tage pro Woche
Team dorm: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Personen teilst.
Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.
Mittagessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Mittagessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.
Abendessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Abendessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.
Kostenlose Wäsche: Du kannst unseren Waschraum frei nutzen.
Fahrräder zur Verfügung: Du kannst unsere Fahrräder jederzeit nutzen.
Abholung: Wir holen dich bei deiner Ankunft ab und bringen dich zu unserem Grundstück.
Surfbretter: Du kannst unsere Surfbretter so oft nutzen, wie du möchtest.
Surfunterricht: Nimm an kostenlosen Surfkursen an den lokalen Stränden teil.
Nutze unsere ausgestattete Küche: Nutze gerne unsere Küche und bereite dein eigenes leckeres Essen zu.
Anforderungen
Fließend Englisch
Zwischen 22 und 38 Jahre alt
Empfängt nur Einzelreisende (akzeptiert keine Paare oder Partner)
Was nicht inbegriffen ist
Flüge, Reiseversicherung, interne Transportmittel und Visum
Programmdetails
We do expect the agreed working hours ( 25 hours / Week). We expect good working ethics such as independence and efficiently.
As an exchange for your work and effort, we provide you your surf vacation after the work. It means: accommodation, grocery, surf materials and surf lessons.
We are leaving in a communities. There will be other volunteers and guests around.
It is important to us that you are open minded and social, spreading positive vibes and be friendly.
You aren’t here just for work and surf. We would be appreciate it that you show interest in our lives, the Panamanian culture etc. Basically making effort to integrate yourself into the community. We would like to get to know you and your life. :-)
Aktivitäten & Schichten
You will be working mostly in the morning from 7-12. We can also be flexible with the hours. Usually we discuss that a day before. Depends on the project and work, you may work in the afternoon or in splits.
Main duties:
- Cleaning the garden (Mowing the grass, raking leaves etc)
- Sanding wood
- painting
- some DIY project
