Programmdetails

We all live in a secluded, private area of the campground where we have built our own little community space. It's a beautiful spot with dorms, caravans and camp areas, our own bathrooms, washing machine and social areas. Please note, we live a really basic lifestyle and are surrounded by the bush (yes, there will be lots of cool wildlife - including bugs). You will spend almost all your time OUTDOORS and there is very limited phone signal.

We cook and eat in the camp kitchen. Your breakfast is self-serve, lunch and dinner are cooked and enjoyed together. We do not provide snacks in between meals, but you can run a tab at the shop for ice cream & snacks or indulge at the cafe.

We like to organize fun activities with & for our crew, but this lifestyle is made by all of YOU.

The more you put into it (go SURF! craft/DIY, plan a picnic/game/party/dinner) the more you get out of it!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

To be our MAINTENANCE PERSON our MINIMUM STAY is 2 MONTHS and if all goes well there is no maximum :)

We would ask for 24hrs a week in exchange for accommodation and 3 full meals a day, surf gear and a unique lifestyle. Happy to chat on an individual basis about different approaches to workdays/time off or any other suggestions how we could collaborate. Depending on skills and season we may be able to offer extra work.

We are generally in need of someone that can work independently and efficiently to complete GENERAL MAINTENANCE. For this position we are looking for these skills:
- HANDY MAN (use power tools to complete small fixes around the campground (giant chess pieces, doors, locks, windows, caravans, hooks, bamboo fencing/screening/poles, etc)
- CARPENTER
- BUILDER
- PLUMBER
- ELECTRICIAN
- LANDSCAPER
- CONCRETER
- MECHANIC
- ?

This is not a learn-on-the-job position! If you do not have hard skills (yet) please feel free to apply for our ground crew position for general help around the campground. We would love to welcome you there and it will be great to have your support for our maintenance person!
