My time on the farm with Dave and Diana was incredible. They were so patient, and I felt welcomed during my stay. Depending on the weather, I worked on a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks, and the hours were always respected. Even when I spent two weeks the farm sick, they were understanding and flexible. I recommend this position to everyone who likes animals! Also it's important to note that the farm is very remote so it's a good idea to buy a SIM card, and go out with the family whenever possible because rides aren't always available. 5 stars, definitely recommend!

It was a really nice experience! The landscape is amazing and you get really in touch with nature. Dave is a very kind and funny person who has a lot of interesting stories to tell.:) I felt very welcomed and the work around the farm is easy and fun. It is very offside, so you have to like the countryside. But if you look for a rural area with contact to animals, I would really recommend beingwithcows!!

I had the most restorative and peaceful time on the farm with the Mountjoys. David is truly one of the most soulful and interesting people I've had the pleasure to meet. The work was fun, the volunteers all separated up different duties and communication between Dave and the vol's was very open and respectful. I would have stayed longer, the land is buzzing with life and it's a really special energy to be within. And cannot forget the farm! They are a true privilege to witness! If you're interested in getting out and exploring the rural settings beyond the farm, a car could be a good idea.
