Wow! My first ever trip through Worldpackers and it couldn't have went any better! I was there for two weeks to do dogsitting and housesitting but I ended up staying for a month - I then helped with gardening and other jobs. Faye is an amazing person and she has a wonderful family. In this house you really do become part of the family. Faye is very flexible - she assigns you tasks and then you organize your own time. She instructs you, helps you, and checks up on you, however, you decide when you're getting up in the morning and when you're working. I really wanna go back some time!

Es una experiencia para desconectar 100% para mí, fue justo lo que buscaba, las tareas eran fáciles y las horas de trabajo flexibles, los perros eran adorables, la casa es enorme y muy bonita y me trataron muy bien. Tuve la suerte de conocer también a otra chica y la experiencia fué genial. Si eres amante de ir en bicicleta ( porque todo se hace en bicicleta) y aislarte en la naturaleza, es tu sitio, ya que no hay transporte público que conecte absolutamente nada y como dije, la única forma es ir en bicicleta y mínimo 1h de trayecto, son cosas a tener en cuenta, pero era justo lo que buscaba.

Con mi novio fue nuestra primer experiencia como voluntarios, nos gustó mucho poder vivirlo, fue una experiencia diferente.Los anfitriones son muy buenos, nos atenderieron muy bien, son buenas personas! En mi caso no podía comunicarme ya que no manejo bien el inglés, aún asi me tenían paciencia y me hicieron sentir muy bien. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que si queres ir a conocer y hacer voluntariado a la vez las distancias son largas y no hay acceso al transporte público. No nos sentimos cómodos con las habitaciones y baños ya que eran muy precarios, pero ellos excelente.

It was really nice for practicing English and meeting people from all over the world. The place is so pretty, as well as the cities nearby. Faye was very welcoming and made us part of the group every dinner, we all ate together and enjoyed a good time. We recommend it if you love nature and working in it!

I had a lovely time at Château the home! Faye and her girls are very welcoming and make you feel right at home from the start. The tasks were varied and sometimes a little difficult but if you're up for challenging yourself in new ways then this is the place to go. I loved meeting other volunteers from all over the world and getting to know them whilst working or over the family meal every night. The accommodation was lovely and cozy and Faye offered anything that would make me feel more comfortable. Overall the experience was very pleasurable, I made new friends and learned new skills!

This was my first experience and it was really amazing! Faye is very organized so you always know what to do. You can start at any time you want or need, there is no problem with that. She also prepare very tasty dinners and sometimes some evening activities. You should expect that Faye would not pick you up at the time that you will arrive but only at a specified time, which is fine. Thank you very much for such a nice experience and a chance to live in a wonderful place. :)

Fue mi primer experiencia como voluntario y no pudo haber sido mejor!! Faye y su familia son increíbles personas, amorosas y abiertas, fue como estar en familia siempre!! 🙌🏼 Las tareas se cumplieron como se acordaron, siempre siendo flexibles en las mismas ante algún imprevisto. Fue mí primer voluntariado y me alegro de que haya sido una muy buena experiencia. Faye y sus hijas nos recibieron muy bien, son divertidas y están siempre dispuestas a ayudarte. Sus comidas y postres fueron deliciosos😊 El trabajo no es muy exigente y se respetan las horas acordadas. Se adecua a tus capacidades y tus tiempos. Compartí los días con otros voluntarios muy divertidos , amables y buenos compañeros. Lo recomiendo y si algún día puedo volveré ☺️

Really nice experience! The family is super welcoming. You just have to do your projects and you get to organize your days as you please. Diner time was a good time to socialize and get to know each other. Had a great time with the other volunteers too. Would definitely recommend this volunteering.
