I was apprehensive at first as there were no other reviews for this host, but I trusted the process and I have to say that I have no regrets. This has been such an enriching experience. I was warmly welcomed by Mr Pheng and staff at the the school and felt right at home. Teacher Ela is a star co-ordinator and communicator. The amazing students, and teachers alike, crept into my heart. I will continue to support this the school to implement new projects despite having to leave for a permanent job offer in the same city. Blessed that I can continue working with them and see them. Highly recommended!!!

It was my first experience as an English teacher and I liked it. My favourite classes were K1 and part time. If you want to explore in the morning, do not hesitate to ask to work only in the afternoon. My schedule was from 1:30pm to 6:30pm from Monday to Wednesday and 1:30pm to 4:40pm from Thursday to Friday. If you're a newbie teacher, be clear about your expectations. Some teachers will let you lead a class without assistance. The guesthouse is nice and close to the the school (12min on foot). Ask for room 203 (I furnished it!). I skipped breakfast & lunch and switched to free dinner instead.

My son, Mr. Mahmood Akram, and I, Dr. Shiblee Mozhippriyan, visited the the school in Cambodia as volunteers. It was a great experience for both of us, especially my son. the the school's founder, Mr. Penh, was very supportive, and Teacher Sreypich and Ela showed us how to teach younger students. We taught children aged 4 to 10, focusing on the American English accent and memory techniques. Teacher Panha became a dear friend, and we miss all the teachers. New volunteers should note that finding halal or vegetarian food might be challenging. Despite this, everything else was wonderful.
