This was such a great experience! The hostel is in a village along the hostel. There's a bunch of villages, towns, and a few cities close by that you can walk to, take the train or bike to. The weather was very nice in April, expect some rain. The nature is beautiful and very unique. There's lots of walking and hiking to be done. Andy and Linda are so sweet, welcoming and fun. Everyone I met in and around the village were very sweet and welcoming. The alpaca tours are a great way to get some exercise and to spend time with the hostel, they're all so cute. I had a very nice time!

I definitely recommend this experience! Linda and Andy were very welcome and accommodating. The work is light and they are very flexible with anything you'd like to do and they accommodate to any plans you may have while here. Linda often carries out alpaca walks which are a lovely way to see the village and get to meet locals too. I got to try some local food which was cool! The only thing is that during spring (March) it is quite quiet so there is less to do but Bad-salzig is a very beautiful place. And the train station is very close by so you can see other surrounding places very easily!

My experience was super! Since the beginning I felt very welcome at the place! The region is amazingly beautiful! You can use train and bike to know the places around. The job is very nice and easy going so you have a nice free time to enjoy too! Thank you for this amazing month, I really enjoyed it!

Mi experiencia fue excelente, fue mi primer voluntariado y mi único arrepentimiento fue quedarme poco tiempo. Andy y Linda son muy amables y flexibles, las tareas son simples, hay mucha naturaleza y disfrutas de un lado menos turístico de Alemania, tuve mucha comunicación y flexibilidad con los host, las la granja son muy buenas. Si te gusta la naturaleza y los animales no lo pienses dos veces. Muchas gracias por mi estadía aquí, espero regresar.

My time with Linda and Andreas was short but sweet, I really enjoyed working at the farm having the oportunity to take care of the farm which was surprisingly less work than I expected, they just need food, water and a clean space. Linda & Andreas always made me feel welcomed, the house the farm was very clean, and I had plenty of free time to explore Boppard and surrounding towns. Thank you for everything!!

My time with Linda and Andi was amazing, I had the best week of my life here. They're two of the most generous, lovely and thoughtful people I've met and they make you feel at home straight away. Linda was kind enough to let me come on all the hikes with the farm Andi took me to concerts and a festival in the village. If you're considering staying with them I couldn't recommend it more. The work is super easy and you have all day to explore!
