I am so grateful for my time at the sanctuary! Though I couldn't stay the full month due to illness, the kindness and support I received during that time meant the world to me. Everyone at the farm made me feel welcome, and I loved the sense of community they've created. Thank you all for everything! I truly hope to return one day and have the chance to contribute to the beautiful work you're doing!

Absolutamente hermosa y llenadora. Sara tiene el don de reunir a la gente correcta a compartir el espacio, todos y cada uno aportamos nuestra parte y vivimos en una hermosa mundo/comidad. Los habitantes del santuario te enseñan cada dia y sin dudas acariciar cerditos es algo que voy a hacer toda mi vida a partir de ahora🐽 como vegana nuestra opcion de comida a veces no es nutricionalmente buena o rica pero aqui todo es vegano, snacks y todos los elementos para cocinar comida deliciosa. Comemos todos juntos a la mesa💖 Hice amigos que querre siempre y volvere seguro a pasar por aqui mas tiempo

I had the most incredible month here at MLPR. It went by so fast and was an absolutely unforgettable experience. This place and all the animals will be in my heart forever, and I hope to one day return to the farm :) I met so many wonderful people which has made my time here even better. But don't underestimate the work, it can be very physically and mentally draining at times, especially if you've never worked on a farm before (like me), but it's so, so worth it. I recommend MLPR to everyone, you won't regret it!

This was a really sweet experience. Getting to directly work with animals is something I've always wanted to do and I'm grateful to be able to help. The work can be very hard and I do recommend patience as your body adjusts, but it was also heartwarming to be able to help such sweet beings. Everyone is welcoming and helpful . If you don't mind hard work in basic settings I would suggest it. Thanks to everyone at this lovely place.

This has been such an incredible experience and one that I will remember forever. The core team really love and look after the animals which has been a pleasure to be a part of. I will miss all the animals so much but hoping to come back one day! My partner and I stayed in our own little cabin which was cozy and comfortable. Please be aware that the volunteers look after the communal areas and also do the cooking and cleaning so sometimes it can be frustrating if someone doesn't contribute to that. I have really enjoyed my time on the farm and found it extremely rewarding. 100% recommend.

WOW! What an incredible experience being here was. The core team at My Lovely Pig Rescue are extremely passionate about providing the best lives for the animals here and that passion spreads to the volunteers too. Although the work is difficult to begin with, once you get into the routine of farm life, it becomes a world of its own and what an amazing world it is! All the animals here are amazing and even on your days off you'll just want to spend your time with them. I've met friends from all over the world, who I'll cherish and stay in touch with forever. Thank you for everything!

I had an amazing time at MLPR! The pigs and other animals were incredible and this is such a unique experience that I'm so grateful to have been part of. The only thing I would say is that you do typically end up working more than 25 hours/week and that some of this work includes cooking and other household chores. However, you do meet lots of lovely people and animals and there's even a ping pong table which is a blast. If you love animals this is definitely the place for you!
