30 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Kinderbetreuung: Betreuung von Kindern, mit ihnen spielen und Zeit verbringen.

Sprachunterricht: Unterrichte eine Sprache für den Host, Gäste oder lokale Gemeinschaften.


Was Sie bekommen

2 freie Tage pro Woche

Privatzimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem privaten Zimmer. Mit anderen Worten, ein Zimmer nur für dich.

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

Mittagessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Mittagessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.

Kostenlose Events: Erhalte kostenlosen Eintritt für die besten Events der Stadt.

Programmdetails

A Teaching English Volunteer plays a vital role in empowering children and young adults by providing them with essential language skills. English proficiency is an important tool for accessing better opportunities, both locally and globally, and this contributes to the educational development of the foundation’s beneficiaries. You will work alongside local teachers or staff, delivering lessons and creating a supportive learning environment.

By helping them develop language skills, you are enhancing their future opportunities and empowering them to engage with the global community. Through your teaching, you will foster confidence, broaden their horizons, and inspire them to pursue their dreams.


Aktivitäten & Schichten

-Teach students aged 7-21 years of age.
-Research new teaching methods for teaching English as a second language.
-Create a supportive and positive classroom environment.
-Maintain records of student attendance and progress.
-Support our English teacher in our free community programs, teaching English in vulnerable communities.
-AIP / YTP - assisting our university students with advanced English.
-Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students in learning, including games, songs, multimedia, and group activities, making lessons interactive and fun.
-Deliver basic/beginner English classes
-Support with English homework or projects.


Regeln

-You should have some experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with children, particularly in language teaching.

-A TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification, or a degree in education, linguistics, or a related field, is highly desirable, but not strictly required for volunteers with strong communication and teaching skills.

-Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, bilingual environment. You should be open-minded, respectful of local customs and traditions, and able to adapt your teaching methods to suit the cultural context.

-Working with children and in a volunteer capacity may require flexibility and patience. You must be prepared to adapt to varying levels of student motivation, different learning speeds, and occasional classroom challenges.

-Basic knowledge of Spanish can be beneficial in communicating with students and staff, particularly in the early stages of the volunteer role.
