Are you a fluent English speaker interested in immersing yourself in Peruvian culture, working with a team of local and international volunteers, and making a difference? If so, consider volunteering with us in Peru where you can teach English to children and adults in our community, contribute to local initiatives, and have the opportunity to explore Peru through regular activities and events.

20 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche
Kunst: Hilfe beim Malen, Graffiti, Bildhauerei oder Zeichnen.
Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.
Sportunterricht: Unterrichten oder Unterstützen des Hosts, der Gäste oder lokaler Gemeinschaften beim Sport oder körperlichen Aktivitäten.
Sprachunterricht: Unterrichte eine Sprache für den Host, Gäste oder lokale Gemeinschaften.
Zusätzliche Gebühr erforderlich
Betrag: US$ 45 Pro Woche
Gebühr bezahlt für: Vorteile für Reisende und Spende an das Projekt
Beschreibung: The volunteer program fee is $180 USD per month for international volunteers. This fee covers the cost of housing, pick-up from the local airport/bus station, and administrative support. Meals and any additional activities are not included in the monthly cost.

Programmdetails
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as volunteer English teachers in Trujillo, Peru. When you volunteer with us, you have the opportunity to work with our team of local and international volunteers in the communities we serve, teaching English both in our English program for school-age children as well as in our evening Conversation Classes for adults. In addition, there are occasionally opportunities to contribute to the efforts of local cycling activist initiatives. We take care to pair volunteers in our programs to help ease any language or cultural barriers that may arise.
If you have a passion for teaching and a knack for creativity in the classroom, enjoy working on a team, love to travel, and are open to experiencing new cultures, we’d love to hear from you!
Aktivitäten & Schichten
When you volunteer with us, you play a crucial role as both a teacher and role model to our students. Your responsibilities would include: teaching children in our English Program in Alto Trujillo (we work in teams, generally pairing local and international volunteers to help ease and language and/or cultural barriers that may arise in the classroom), leading evening conversation classes for adults twice weekly, helping with the planning and preparation of classes, and providing additional support on an as-needed basis.
