Me and my friend Nick have stayed at the hotel for 13 Days total, it was our first Trip and definitely a great start. Simone and her boyfriend Will have been great hosts, when we had any issues, no matter workwise or in our free time, they also had a helping hand. They are some of the most genuine people i've met so far! If you want to see Curaçao, get great local tips and also want to get some working experience while saving money and meeting new people… I would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel 👍👍👍

Volunteering at the hotel was a great experience. The working hours were ideal — 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. — and we had plenty of time off to explore the island. Simone really cares that volunteers get to know Curaçao and even helped us with a car rental, which made everything super easy. And Will, Simone's boyfriend, is honestly one of the most interesting and coolest people I've ever met — incredibly smart, funny, and just a great person to be around. And with their three lovely dogs, the hotel really feels like special place.

I learned so much at the hotel, I feel like a new person :) Simone is great, very efficient, knowledgeable and provided everything to make me feel comfortable, gave a lot of recommendations to visit the island and even provided a bike and beach gear! I didn't have much experience with diy but she patiently taught me, with humor and energy. A couple of things to keep in mind before applying is that the job is physical and the temperatures are high, in March it was 30 degrees on average, I didn't mind but I think volunteers should be aware. Wish Simone all the best, Curacao is great ♥️

I had a wonderful stay in the hotel! Me and my friend had our own appartment which was freshly renovated! We worked in the morning and got all afternoon to explore the beautiful island. Simone is a flexible and caring host. She gave us many tips about the island.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! Simone made us feel welcomed the first few seconds we arrived. Some tasks are easier than others, for example working outside is harder than inside, however we work from 7:30 to 12:30 so the first few hours are not that bad, and you have the rest of the day to go do something fun! Simone was also helpful with providing information on where to go and what you can do. She also provides bikes. There is a supermarket nearby and a bus station. However the food is not provided, so it's a little expensive. But overall, I recommend a 100%!

Simone was welcoming and helped me to get to experience the island and showed me the "island life". The location is not super central but she is helpful with information on how to get around and took me to beaches when she went. The beach is a 15min bike ride form the place. She do also provode helpful tips on how to spend your days of, like the best time and place to swim with turtles. All in all a good experience. Would stay there agian.

Simone was an incredible host, and immediately made me feel welcome and at home! She also went out of her way to make sure I could have a great experience with the diving on the island, which is absolutely incredible!!

I had a great time in Curaçao :) The beaches are beautiful and great to dive. I did my PADI Open water during my stay and it was a breathtaking experience! Simone was a kind and caring host. She helped me when I was sick and took me with her when she went out. This way I could meet new people. The work was how I expected. A looot of painting, some gardening and other different tasks around the house. Not necessarily hard work but nonetheless exhausting because of the heat on the Island. I surely can recommend this adventure :)

I had a great time at the hotel! Simone was a really nice host, she even invited me to go to a bar/have bbq with her friends and tried to integrate me! I just have to admit that at some points I felt like the (for me) physically very demanding work (sometimes digging holes for hours outside in the heat) wasnt really worth the accommodation without food. Still Simone is super friendly, recommends you a lot of places and tries to make you feel comfortable! If you're interested in diving, this is the right place to go! You also get a bike & there's a big supermarket nearby, which is great!
