This was a great experience, Emmy and her son are such sweet and geniune persons. We had a lovely Christmas dinner together, spoke about life which was very interesting and wholesome, and our tasks were very enjoyable, easy, and we made our own schedule and decided to finish tasks in the first days then just have free time.

What an amazing experience!! worldschooling bansko is an incredible program - you develop such a strong sense of community and are able to connect with tons of different people from around the world. working hours were fair (lots of free time for skiing!) and the tasks were well-explained. you also have use of emmy's car for grocery shopping which is super helpful. I would absolutely encourage anyone to apply for this. emmy is the best host - she is so kind and supportive and has created something so so special!! please message me for any more details!!<3

This was my first Worldpackers, and it was such a positive first experience - Emmy is a super friendly host and I always felt very supported by her when there were any issues. The hours were more than fair which gave us plenty of free time to the school and explore. I had an amazing time in Bansko and would encourage anyone to apply for this position, it is a great opportunity to meet amazing people from all over the world - Emmy has created something really special with her programme!

Everything was tremendous; Emmy was welcoming and actively encouraged feedback in order to ensure that the program ran smoothly. There were some issues with the hotel but they were outside of Emmy's control and she was on the case trying to sort them out as soon as they arose. I had a wonderful time.

Worldschooling Bansko is an utterly brilliant experience! Emmy made me feel so welcome and safe from our first phone call and continued to do so throughout the experience. I got to make some fantastic new friends and had plenty of free time to learn to the school and relax. Emmy is always open to ideas and not only listens but quickly resolves all issues that come up. Wouldn't have changed this for the world! :)

My experience at Worldschooling in Bansko couldn't have been more incredible! It has been the best volunteer experience I've ever had. The planning, the purpose, and the values behind the whole program are truly special and extraordinary. Sharing time with the families and the kids made the whole experience feel like being part of a big family, united by the curiosity to explore the world. Thank you so much, Emmy, for allowing me to live this experience that brought me so much happiness and so many beautiful memories. Emmy was an amazing host. She has created something very special in Worldschooling Bansko. That 15 or so families that have never met can come together and create such a close community is incredible. The work was very enjoyable and there was plenty of free time for skiing. We were also very well looked after - the rooms were fine (nothing fancy but perfectly serviceable) and Emmy took us out sledging, to some hot springs and for a meal at the end. She also let us borrow her car to go shopping or for trips to other towns. Thanks for this amazing opportunity Emmy

As my first Worldpackers experience, this was even better than I could imagine. Emmy was amazing as a host: always helpful, made you feel so at home, flexible, had so much appreciation for everything the team did and super communicative. It made me really happy to help make Worldschooling Bansko the best in can be. Your schedule will depend on the age group you guide, so this might be different for everyone, but the hours were always reasonable and predictable. The work could be tiring, but never too much. Plenty (!) time to go up the mountain. So, so happy to have been here <3.

It is imposible for us to compare our time in Bansko with any other experience we had. You really get to connect to the local culture and a lot of traveling families, it really opens your mind to new experiences. Emmy will take care of you and she is an amazing hos, so communication will never be a problem. You will receive more than you could probably give back. We are in love
