We loved every moment of our time at Ecovilqb! We felt immediately welcomed by every member there. The accommodation is very comfortable &, we had the most delicious meals during our time there! The work itself was really interesting and it's so lovely seeing the development of the place whilst you're staying. As well as working we also enjoyed a horse ride in the hills that we got to experience with Vania & Leia! Not only that they took us to a jazz festival in a close town and really made sure we had a memorable experience! I couldn't recommend them highly enough and we will miss them.

Foi uma experiência enriquecedora, pois realizei tarefas que não fazem parte do meu cotidiano, como pegar na enxada, colher batatas doce e capturar uma galinha... Desfrutei de um ambiente sempre calmo e acolhedor na companhia de anfitriões gentis e que propiciaram a realização do trabalho de forma harmoniosa. Ficou evidente que o projeto está engajado com a educação da comunidade, seja através de ações em escolas ou junto à associação do bairro (exemplo: English Conversation). Gratidão, sobretudo ao Camilo, com quem fiz o primeiro contato e foi meu mentor + próximo. "God bless everyone!!!"

Camilo was a wonderful host. He is caring, thoughtful, and relaxed. He was very flexible with scheduling work depending on weather, other events, and my own schedule. Camilo even made sure we cut work a bit early on my last day so that I could go see the sunset from a mountain. He really wanted me to have a full experience and I definitely did. The other people living in the house were also very kind and friendly. I became relatively close with all of them and will keep in touch with them. This was my first volunteer experience and I think it was excellent.
