Imagine a stunning retreat nestled between Rio and São Paulo. A place where we're shaping our big dreams of owning our land. We've got a bunch of exciting projects in mind for this lab, but we could use a few extra pairs of hands. Our days revolve around tending to an array of veggies, as well as looking after our clucking chickens and three lovable dogs. And guess what? Our space is a hub for cultural, social, and permaculture events.

Hey there,
Wanna join our awesome team? We're all about rolling up our sleeves and getting hands-on with our organic gardens, composting, agroforestry, chicken wrangling, giving the house and land some TLC, doing some gardening, adding those special touches to the landscape, giving our little pond a makeover, and even lending a hand in putting up a new greenhouse and sprucing up the place.
If you're up for a bit of everything and ready to dive into some cool projects, we'd love to have you on board. No prior experience needed – just a willingness to learn, get your hands dirty, and have a blast while making our space even more amazing. Let's team up and make things happen! 🌱🐓🏡
We typically host only one set of volunteers at a time—solo volunteers stay in our guest house with a single bed and private half bathroom, and couples or groups stay in a guest room in the main house.
Aktivitäten & Schichten
We're looking for around 4 hours of your time each day for volunteering, usually from 6-8 AM and 5-7 PM to avoid the heat, but we can chat about that. You'll have the rest of the day all to yourself. We usually do 5 days of work and then treat ourselves to 2 days off. If there's a specific day you want off, no worries, we can plan it ahead of time. Sometimes, our monthly events might need some extra hands, but don't sweat it – we'll make up for it with extra days off when things chill out. Your help means a lot to us, and we're all about making it work together.
Regeln
We live in a beautiful village called Rocinha, 20 minutes outside the city of Guaratinguetá. The village has about 2,000 people and many days we walk in to go to the market, buy fresh milk and cheese, and order from restaurants.
We've got a buffet for breakfast and delicious lunch (mostly vegetarian but sometimes with meat). For dinner, you can either snag some leftovers from lunch, or we can grab a pizza or a tasty local burger. Feel free to hit up the kitchen and whip up something whenever you want in the evening.
