Harvesting lavender and playing music in the Tuscan countryside
Das Erlebnis
The property consists of a hotel and another house (Podere Pantaneto), where Alberto and the managers of the hotel live. The area is surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, lavender fields, and pure nature.
Volunteers will not be involved with the hotel activites but during these two weeks will take part in the lavender harvest and the making of essential oil. Many more activities including nights out to playing guitar at sunsets are included.

1 freier Tag pro Woche
Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.
Frühstück: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Frühstück an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.
Mittagessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Mittagessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.
Abendessen: Du hast Anspruch auf ein kostenloses Abendessen an jedem Tag deines Aufenthalts.
Kostenlose Wäsche: Du kannst unseren Waschraum frei nutzen.

Programmdetails
The main help will be, taking care of the lavender field, veggie garden, the chicken and maintenance around the place. Apart from this picking fruits, making jam, picking olives, weeding, watering plants would be some more tasks to do. Depending on the season this will be discussed on the moment before you arrive.
Aktivitäten & Schichten
First of all the place is beautiful and peaceful, so you can charge your batteries and gain a lot of energy back by staying in the pure nature surrounding you.
Having an after help wine with a phenomenal view. You will learn working on the lavender field taking care of the chickens, feeding or cleaning them etc. and help in the veggy garden, seeding/planting, pruning or harvesting. Of course there is plenty other stuff to do. The daily dose of help will be around 4 to 5 hours.
Regeln
We get up early in the morning to avoid the heat. As part of the hours of help the volunteers will be asked to keep their rooms and public spaces (toilet, kitchen) tidy and to partecipate on the preparation on the meals we will have together.
