Valerie, you are an amazing person inside and out. Generous, kindhearted and genuine. The kind of person you want to have in your life for years to come. Aquarius in Cassis not just a volunteer experience, it is an opportunity to be part of a family. The work itself is not hard, you will have another volunteer to share it with. You will be fed plenty, and have time to see the beauty of the south of France. Cuddly cats to snuggle with before bed, a scenic view to wake up to, and even have opportunities to learn and practice some French. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you ❤️

I loved every minute of it. The village is the cutest thing, surrounded by nature, hiking spots and easy access to Marseille. Valerie is the most beautiful soul and makes everyone feel special since the first day. I'll miss her and sleeping cuddling Mia 💛

I spent a month in Aquarius and I can say it was a beautiful experience. The place is absolutely stunning and charming, you'll have time enough to explore the surrounding villages and Cassis' breathtaking nature spots. The energy that Aquarius conveys is just extraordinary, guests are super friendly and always willing to have a conversation with you. Valerie is incredibly generous and understading, she really makes you feel at home from the very firt moment. If you want to get to know the french culture, staying with Valerie is the perfect way to immerse yourself in it!

My time in Aquarius was magical, you can feel the good vibes just as you enter🌈✨Valerie is amazing, open and generous, she makes you feel at home all the time. The task are easy and enjoyable, doing the rooms, preparing the breakfast and chatting with the guest. There's enough time to go to the beach, the home at the pool or go to Les calanques (please don't forget to go). Thanks you Valerie for welcoming, you now how happy I was there🌺🌻 ❤️

APPLY NOW!! There is no way to fully describe the wonderful experience I had. Valerie is the most generous and loving host I have ever had through worldpackers. The house is so wonderful, you can really feel the love and care she puts in it. Meeting travelers that the home there is so fun, having breakfast in the morning and taking about our days. Valerie introduces you to different places, her friends, and the culture in cassis. The town itself is so cute with beautiful beaches and the national park. Work is done early so we have lunch then you have the whole day. Thank you sm Valerie ♥️♥️♥️

I had a great experience in Aquarius! The house and the location is stunning, it felt like a dream. Valerie is an amazing host and makes you feel at home. I ate so much delicious food that I would not be able to make myself. I loved taking care of the breakfast and learned how to make homemade bread. The tasks were fun, especially with the other volunteers. After work, we had plenty of time to explore the area and jump in the pool. Cassis is so beautiful and you can easily reach other places by bus or train. I definitely recommend this experience! Merci beaucoup :)

Valerie is a great host. Preparing delicious squid ink pasta. Playing the piano and sharing our sheet music. Taking you on the vespa to the market or sea. And bringing such a positive energy to the breakfast table, which was always generously set. Even with homemade yogurt and bread that we learned to prepare. It's a place of cooking together, cuddling with the cats, relaxing in the pool under the sun after finishing all the work, having enriching conversations and a fun time with amazing people. Thank you for letting me become part of the Aquarius family and I hope to be back in the future <3

This was my first WorldPacker's experience and it really set such high expectations for my next trip. My experience here was amazing. I made lifelong friends and memories that I will hold close to me forever. Valerie is one of a kind - from her generosity to her compassion, I felt safe, nurtured, and nourished. I was able to visit Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Nice, and Montpellier as well. Everything about Aquarius in Cassis is wonderful: the location, the guests, the work, I 100% recommend it all! My time at Aquarius was absolutely wonderful. The location of the B&B is nothing but gorgeous, situated in the midst of Cassis, surrounded by beautiful nature and just few minutes walking from its charming town and surrounding hikes. Valerie is probably one of the most generous people I've ever met, and she'll make sure you're looked after! If you want to know more about the B&B I'd suggest looking up the reviews about it online, and you'll discover this little pearl in the South of France is nothing but a gem! Do I recommend this experience? Absolutely!
