Das Erlebnis

We're looking for young, fun, super-friendly people to have a great time with our guests! You'll be taking them out nights out, salsa lessons, and other activities in town. You'll also be a bar master and you'll be helping guests sort out their stay and shuttle/tour needs at our front desk. We ask that you take photos of activities for social media and you'll enjoy a room with fellow volunteers. No experience is needed, it's all about attitude!

Programmdetails

We're a small hostel in the magical city of Antigua Guatemala.

Located on 2 Avenue South, we're neighbors to some of the most famous bars and restaurants in town, and just a stone throw's away from the busy city center.

We are known for being a chill place, having more of a homely feel, at an affordable price, and with amazing perks all over town. We take great pride in our top notch customer service and aim to make our guests get the most out of their time in town. Your main job is to help us make sure you and our guests have an unforgettable hostel stay.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

You'll have 3 types of shifts: Activities, Bar and Front Desk. We issue schedules weekly with a mix of these 3 areas so you get to dip your toe in all of these roles.

When you're in charge of the activity for the day, your duty is to promote it, socialize with people and take them on to chocolate workshops, nights at the club, salsa lessons, street food tastings, among other things. You will be provided with a budget for any activities that represent an expense.

We'll train you for our bar shifts, where you'll be sharing a space with guests next to the hot tub and making the bar your own. We work with our set menu and encourage you to come up with your signature drink ;)

Finally, working the front desk means getting to know our guests, checking them in and out and sorting their stay and tours.

You get commissions from shuttle/tour tickets and drinks sold!

Regeln

We're a social place, but definitely not a party hostel, so we look for people who know how to have a good time but respect other's need for their beauty sleep. You'll be sharing a room with fellow volunteers so being tidy and mindful of everyone's shared space is key. We require that you take photos for our social media, particularly when you're in charge of the daily activity. Finally, our hard-working cleaning staff expects you to clean up after yourself in the kitchen and to help them by doing your best to keep a clean hostel.
