Programmdetails

Our bar is small and usually for guests only, with a few exceptions on event nights. The hostel has a maximum occupancy of 34 guests, so it's a chilled environment to work where you can (and are encouraged to) engage with the guests in conversations and create a good vibe for everyone. Our hostel is a new and fun accommodation, with an informal and relaxed vibe, in which most of our guests are backpackers and travelers who want to socialize and chill out. So, we need your help in creating this vibe and being a social and fun person yourself.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

The bar is open only during the evening, which means you have the whole morning and afternoon for yourself. Shifts vary a little and you might get only bar shift or maybe a combination of bar shift and activities. It will depend on the hostel occupancy, the weather (the bar is on the rooftop, so it's closed on rainy days), and your skills! Let us know if you have any special skills and we might put you doing more of what you love and less bar shifts. A few examples: you are a great cook, you are a yoga teacher, or a musician, you teach people how to draw, etc! Let us know!! :)

Regeln

We are all about personality so please don't be too formal in your application. You will be sharing a dorm with other people, so before anything else, we are looking for people that knows how to share a space with others, being respectful and organized. For the time you are here, consider the hostel our shared house, so in addition to the volunteer tasks, please understand that we expect you to be tidy and help keep the place clean and organized, just like the guests.
