Anforderungen

Mittelstufe Englisch oder Mittelstufe Deutsch

Programmdetails

Usually you will work Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm , so you have the afternoons and weekend free. If the weather is nice, we start sometimes also at 9am, mainly in the summer.

As I am not a local, I can't offer you a Portuguese, cultural exchange by my self. But there will be other Volunteers, friends, visitors or even family around from all over the world, to get a width cultural exchange anyway.

About learning, it depends a lot, how long you will stay and how fast you learn, if you stay only 3 weeks, maybe you learn just how to hold a shovel or use a brush. If you stay longer, there a for sure more opportunities. Beside of that, you can ask me out about a lot of topics like Veganism or Off-Grid living.

About socializing:
Usually I host only 4 Volunteers at the same time, but have also friends, family and guest around with you can hung up, In total I have space for 15 ppl.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

I moved in April 2022 in a house which was empty for some years. So I need help with renovation task, building furniture and mostly create a big garden. There is also a big barn/hall I would like to convert in something useful.

Things to be done:
- plastering
- painting
- digging (a lot)
- planting trees
- create a garden and terraces (=digging)
- help in the ready part garden
- cleaning (floors, windows, dishes, laundry... it's a big house)
- building furniture
- building a pool/sauna

I recommend to bring your own working gloves and good boots are also a good idea. Please be aware, that you can get very dirty and that you have to work sometimes outside even when it rains.
