I had such an amazing experience with the organization and his entire family (which I quickly felt a part of). Everyone welcomed me into their home and made me feel safe and comfortable in every way. If you stay here, you will fully experience Uganda with the best locals. The kids are the best and truly show their gratitude towards you. I got so attached and it was hard to say goodbye.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I couldn't wait. From the moment you arrive, the organization welcomes you like family. The children are so excited, and the place truly feels like a home away from home. I've volunteered with many NGOs, and this is one of the best. The kids still sleep in an old building and sometimes lack food, so bringing clothes, toys, and school supplies is really appreciated. It's one of the most heartwarming experiences I've ever had. Your money is well spen: the organization is transparent, and just €15 a day helps feed the orphans. Highly recommended.

Our experience in Uganda was something we will carry in our hearts forever. Thanks to our wonderful host, we were able to experience the true essence of this country: the simplicity, strength and warmth of its people. Every day was a gift, full of discoveries, smiles and moments that made us reflect on the value of the little things. Despite the poverty and difficulties of local life, we found immense human wealth, dignity and generosity that touched us deeply. At first, I was nervous as I had no volunteer experience and had never been away from home this long. But in these 5 weeks, the organization and Shaki gave me a feeling of safety, love, and truly coming home. The passion with which everyone cares for the children and community deserves the highest respect. Seeing how every help is valued touched me deeply. This journey healed and shaped me in so many ways, and I can recommend it to everyone. If you want to know local life, have fun and find new friends the organization is perfect for you. Wow! What an experience! I find it hard to find the words to describe how amazing this experience has been! the organization and Shaki welcomed us into their family with warmth and love. They are not only kind and compassionate, but so much fun too. We had so many laughs together. The food was so good! They made such an effort to ensure we had the best experience of Uganda as possible. We went on safari, visited waterfalls, did a zipline, and the local village walk was so interesting. Playing with the children was such a delight. If you choose to volunteer here, you won't regret it!

Had the most wonderful time at the organization. They were very welcoming and looked after us well. They made sure we had a great time with planning experiences. The children were amazing and loved spending time with them. It was great to see them spending the money fundraised so you know where the money is going. They used our funds raised on building a new space for the children. Had a wonderful well rounded experience and would love to go back if I get the chance. I would encourage everyone to join this project.

I was lucky enough to spend 2 weeks volunteering at the organization and I had such a fantastic time. the organization was an excellent host, incredibly friendly and always willing to help to the best of his ability. The whole community was so welcoming from the beginning. They genuinely felt like a second family to me :) the organization gave me the opportunity to work on a range of different things such as animal care, teaching Maths and English to the children and helping dig the foundations for a new building. I can't recommend volunteering with the organization enough, it's an incredible organisation!

This experience is beyond amazing. Everyone welcomes you with so much love and joy and they truly make you feel part of a family. You can participate in any activity as much as you want to while daily tasks don't take too much of your time and effort. I had a cold during my stay and they took great care of me and even made me tea. It's the best way to really live a local experience and immerse yourself in Ugandan culture. I'd recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and volunteer here 100%.
