We are looking for mindness people to join in our school projects nearly Dar es salaam.
Our project based on education center where we provide free education to the less privilege children.
We actual have two session per day morning class for small kids and evening after regular class for teenager. In Tanzania many schools have large numbers of students compared to the facilities we have so many children could not be taught well at the school

Beschreibung: Volunteers’ fee goes to the host families’ house to cover the expenses of the stay like, three meals per day breakfast, lunch and dinner, and other daily utilities. A part of this fund is used in assisting organization’s projects like raising awareness for vulnerable children. It’s recommended this fee to be paid upfront at the start of the project as it fosters budget accuracy and reinforcing the commitment for volunteers.

Programmdetails

We are looking for open minded people to support kids and teenagers for after class time. We actually focus to improve in two areas Languages and basic arithmetic calculation. We need volunteers to training kids and teenagers in three languages English as the main language, Italian and French. In English we are looking for someone who can organize official class for 5 - 8 kids of the age between 7 to 20 and teach them grammar, tenses vocabularies, read them story, let them read for you, improve their writing skills, listening skills and build them confidence to stand out feel cool to speak English language.
Actually our mother tongue language is Swahil so we facing very difficult time during the transition period to English speaker.

For Italian and French we are looking for volunteers who can teach a very beginners in these languages, like starting from the scratch.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

These sessions usually done after school time so somewhere around 03:00 pm to 07:00 pm.
Volunteers will be responsible to handle his/her own classroom of 5-8 teenagers and children probably, with the assistance from local host.

Regeln

Volunteers will be supervised by our local staff coordinators from our organization who will pick you up upon arrival, take you around, introduce you to the school and staff, and guide you during your stay.
It is important that volunteers at this project understand the following;

Tanzania is a peaceful country but is old-fashioned by Western standards. Be enthusiastic and independent and willing to accept that things can be challenging at times.
Show respect towards the people and culture of the local community. The people of Tanzania are some kind religious, so prepare yourself accordingly.
At all times, follow rules regarding clothing and appearance. Tanzania is the tropical country and therefore hot. It is not as strict as the Middle East, so you can dress coolly but modestly, with limbs, knees, and shoulders covered if possible.
