We're looking for people to help us in and around the hostel - but most importantly people who are nice and friendly with our guests. Your duties vary between reception, housekeeping, gardening, social media, creating DIY-tours and other tasks, including your own input in order to improve our hostel.

Privatzimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem privaten Zimmer. Mit anderen Worten, ein Zimmer nur für dich.

Gemeinschaftszimmer: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Reisenden teilst.

Team dorm: Du bekommst ein Bett in einem Gemeinschaftszimmer, was bedeutet, dass du dir den Raum mit anderen Personen teilst.

Programmdetails

Volunteering for about 24 hours a week in exchange for a bed in our volunteer room or a bed in a dorm.

What we appreciate in volunteers is flexibility. In case we have staffing issues, you will work reception / housekeeping shifts. Otherwise, we appreciate the help during busy days. Your other tasks and duties vary depending on what the hostel needs at the moment. Besides fixed shifts, we are flexible regarding the working hours.

We have a volunteer room available for our volunteers, that you might have to share with one other volunteer. If this room is booked by guests, we will give you a bed in one of our dorm rooms, but preferably you will stay in the volunteer room. You will have access to the kitchen and breakfast facilities and you can use the washing machine.

If you want to go on a tour, you'll get a discounted price when booking with us.

- Morning reception (07:00 - 15:50)
- Afternoon reception (15:00 - 23:30)
- Night shift (23:00 - 07:30 - if you are open to this)
- Housekeeping shift (08:00 - 13:00)

- Small maintenance in the hostel;

- Creating DIY tours for guests;
- Organizing small events at the hostel;

- Other ideas that you might have that can help us improve the hostel.
