I had a wonderful and relaxed time at this experience, I am very grateful for Angelika and Eleni, they provide a kind and comfortable space for their volunteers! :) The work is only in the evenings starting at 5, to make sure check ins come, and socializing with people outside. It is everyday unless you work extra, and then you have one day off. The hostel is small but you have the chance to meet people from around the world. I recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing hostel experience, and experiencing amazing Chania, a cute town with lots to do. I am grateful, thank you so much :)

My heart is forever in the hostel. The routine was really easy going and talking to people was one of the main tasks, whic I loved and made it much more fun. Angelikki and Eleni are amazing people, very open to conversation and were so thoughtful during my stay. As locals, they shared the most precious tips and Angelikki presented me some beautiful gems from Crete. The location of the hostel is just perfect, you're gonna make a lot of memories in the most beautiful street of Chania.

I can't even describe with words how amazing this experience was. I will miss Angelika, Eleni, and of course Chania, so much! I definitely recommend this opportunity — it was my first time doing something like this and honestly, I loved it. I felt at home, met so many people from around the world, and was never lonely. I went on amazing tours for free, and the work is super chill. There are lots of beaches nearby and many beautiful places to visit. Angelika is super flexible, caring, and lovely. If you have the opportunity to do this, don't hesitate, go!

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! I worked 5-10pm everyday and got 1 day off a week! Angelika was a great host and provided ingredients that I needed for breakfast + a bit more :) I got to go on a free tour on one of my days off which was a great experience! Angelika and Eleni treat you like family and I enjoyed chatting to and getting to know both of them!

Angelika, Eleni, and Chrisandy, all I can say is THANK YOU! You truly spoiled me during this experience and made me feel so loved and welcomed! This experience never felt like work, it felt like helping out family. I "worked" from 5–9 each evening, checking in and chatting with guests, helping Angelika with some design work and promoting the tours,which were incredible! We went to some of the big touristy beaches, but Angelika also took me to a quieter beach with her daughter just for a fun day out. She never felt like a boss or a host! I even stayed after my shifts just to chat with her!

I have no words to describe this experience! It was absolutely amazing, I fell in love with the culture, the people and the vibes. The tasks were very easy and schedules respected, talking and meeting people was always fun and never felt like work! Aggeliki, her family and Eleni became my family there, always considerate and caring! I had the best time in Chania, thanks to Aggeliki, her passion for her job and patience I got to visit Crete and to really enjoy Greek culture! It was definitely an unforgettable experience!!

I had the best time at the hostel and I would totally recommend it to everyone! 🫶🏻 The work is super easy and doesn't really feel like work. There is a lot of time to explore the hostel and surroundings and have great conversations with people from all over the world. Angelika is the best, I felt very welcomed and very well taken care of! Would love to come back, thanks for the great time. :)

I had a really nice time volunteering here! Angelika is really sweet and welcoming and always attentive to anything you may need. I went during off season so the few tasks were very easy but my favorite part was getting to know all of the guests and meeting so many interesting different people. I would recommend volunteering here and getting to know the beautiful town of Chania.

Angelika is great, and everything is as the description says. She took us on lots of tours - one thing that I didn't know though was that I still needed to pay to go on the tours (half price), but in order to get the “free tours”, I would have had to lead them myself, which could have counted as shift time. I wish I knew this because there were a few times I was out with a bunch of people on a “tour” and ended up rushing back for my shift. The hours are respected, and Angelika let me leave early a few times! I can't wait to go back. Pls feel free to msg with questions!
