Alvaro is the best host that someone can have! He's patient, funny, respectful, help with everything you need! The best host that I ever had! You feel like home with him and with all the farm's team ! Great accommodations, great beds, great local, everything very clean and perfect!

The farm was my first volunteering experience and couldn't have been better. I was only there for two weeks but immediately felt like part of a community. Literally every single staff member is incredibly kind, despite my lack of Spanish. Hacienda itself is in a very peaceful location and you will have a good amount of free time. Most of the work is not too hard and involves working with kids, helping with their activities or meal times. Alvaro will take time out of his day to take you to nearby cities like Cadiz on your off days if you work hard. I would 100% recommend.

This was my first time ever volunteering abroad and even though it was a bit outside of my comfort zone, i quickly got adapted thanks to the compassion of the staff at Hacienda. Through this experience, i was able to pick up more Spanish, meet some of the most hard working and kind people, and will cherish this experience forever. Alvaro was a great host. It did take me a few days to get used to his dry humor though 😅 With this volunteering experience, i can tell that as long as you commit to your part of the experience, you will have an amazing time. Highly recommend! (Beware of the heat ☀️

La verdad que fue una experiencia única, todas las personas que trabajan en la hacienda nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos desde un primer momento. lo super recomiendo a todos. todos nos ayudaron de alguna manera u otra. fue algo genial la pasé más que bien, le agradezco a Álvaro y todo el equipo de la granja.

This was the best experience I've ever had. Don't hesitate to apply and go to Hacienda, because you will not regret it. The place, the food, the people, the host, everything was perfect and well organized. Communication and rules were well established, and the host was always respectful and ready to make your experience in Spain very memorable. People care about you here and you feel part of the Hacienda family. Being a volunteer here was the best thing I did in Europe! Definitely coming back sometime soon (specially if there is more of that Chocolate cream for breakfast).

My experience at Hacienda was so fun and memorable! Alvaro and the team made us feel at home and were all super friendly. The schedule was very flexible and I enjoyed doing activities with the kids + helping the kitchen staff prep for meals. Definitely recommend as a way to interact with kids, meet other travelers, and enjoy nature!

I'm really grateful for the experience!! The camp itself is a beautiful place where you truly feel like home. The people there are so kind and welcoming. On one hand the language barrier was frustrating because I couldn't tell the people around me how much I appreciated them. But on the other hand it was the best opportunity to practice spanish. Nevertheless I recommend to know a few words beforehand. Alvaro is a sweetheart who will joke around. He is super flexible with the free days and will maybe organize a trip with the volunteers together if he sees that you worked hard the days before

Wish I was back! The friends I made with the volunteers and staff I will remember forever. You keep active by putting in good work and will sleep so well after!! The different groups and activities hosted ensure you can help in different ways (zipline, monitor kids, clean, maintenance, etc). The staff and host Alvaro are all so kind and fun, they really care about the place and people. They are the most humble, hardworking, friendly people (especially if you're ready to learn Spanish🤪). Thankful for my time at HB. 🥰

Has sido una gran voluntaria y mejor persona =) Nos has ayudado siempre y sin importar la tarea, desde los niños hasta montar el campo de Paintball. Muy contentos de tu paso por nuestra Hacienda, ojalá te volvamos a ver. Cuidate mucho y mucha suerte en tu nueva aventura tras la univerdad!

The experience in the farm was absolutely amazing. The place was wonderful. The rooms provided by the host were really comfortable and there was a certain amount of privacy among volunteers. The 5 working hours per day were always respected.The tasks were enjoyable ,since they were different depending on the days, such as helping the monitors with the outdoor activities( zip line, kayaking etc),cleaning the facilities and more . Alvaro and his team were fantastic people, really flexible and friendly. We also went on daily excursions with Alvaro on our days off! I will miss them all ❤
