My experience in the hostel was way better than I could have imagined. I chose this place because my friends had come as guests before and said it was a must in Asturias, but little did I know I would share so many unforgettable experiences and continue learning about other cultures. Ezequiel, the manager, runs the hostel with love and commitment, which actually shows in the volunteers and guests' experience. He is flexible and tries to find the best possible outcome for everyone in every situation. Here you will practise languages, learn about surfing, skating, boxing, hiking.

Mi experiencia en el Gijón el hostel fue increíble. El lugar es espectacular y sin duda, ¡Gijón tiene mi corazón! Todos los voluntarios cumplieron sus horarios correctamente, la casa de huéspedes estaba súper limpia y adecuada, el anfitrión también es muy responsable. Recomiendo encarecidamente 😌

Mi primer voluntariado y agradezco a la vida por haber coincidido con personas muy bellas!. Sobre las tareas en el hostel son fáciles de realizar y los horarios te permiten poder hacer otras actividades para aprovechar al 100% tu estadía por Gijón. Gracias a Ezequiel por preocuparse siempre de que cada voluntario se sienta cómodo durante su estadía. Fue mi primera experiencia de voluntaria y fue lo máximo, coincidí con un grupo de personas maravillosas y conocí lugares hermosos. El Hostel cuenta con todo lo necesario y más, tiene un ambiente muy agradable. Por otro lado el encargado tiene muy buena disposición en todo momento y se preocupa de que cada voluntario viva una buena experiencia. Gracias por todo.

It was amazing! The place is really great and worth it. I volunteered in the autumn/winter, so the work is easy because is low season. There was not so many people but the ones that were are very nice, I already miss the hostel and super recommend it.

I spent two months at the hostel and can recommend the experience. In general work is easy (even if it can get quite busy in high season) and the benefits you get out of your stay are above average (like free yoga, surfing, excursions, etc.). The team is nice and everyone willing to help and make you feel comfortable. The surrounding are is nice as you have access to pretty beaches, a park and the town is walking distance away.
