Mi experiencia en el hostel ha sido genial. Los dueños son muy buena onda, muy amables y las tareas son sencillas. Además, Isabela es una isla hermosa donde hay muchas actividades que hacer, los recomiendo quedarse al menos una semana para tener el tiempo de hacer unos tours y visitar bien la isla mientras trabajando en el hostal.

✅ ¡Fiorela me recibió calurosamente y me incluyó con sus amigos para una noche de hot dogs! El hostal era muy cómodo con cocina y terraza. La experiencia de voluntariado es una excelente manera de experimentar la vida en la isla. las actividades que realizaban principalmente eran pintura. ❌ Un día cuándo estaba trabajando aprendí que mi padre era al hospital. Llame a mi familia y el padre me preguntó agresivamente de dejar de llamar y de ir a pintar aunque le informe de la situación y le dije que podía quedarme más tarde y que iba a acabar mi trabajo.

Thank you! I had such a great time at the hostel. Normally I worked in the morning which meant I had the whole day to explore the island, but when I had tours booked in the morning it was not a problem at all and I just worked in the afternoon. Edith was very welcoming and even gave me some clothes to wear as my luggage got lost. My work usually involved cleaning which I didn't mind and expected, but there was no bar work. I would love to come again if I ever have the chance to come back to Galápagos.

I stayed at the hostel for a week. It was a truly relaxing place. The hosts were super welcoming and friendly, the accommodation and the whole hostel was comfortable and clean, the work was easy as well… The work schedules were sometimes a bit unpredictable, but you have a lot of impact on that too. If you have plans to go on a tour one day, no problem. Then you just work later in the afternoon instead. The bar is a really cool place to go for yummy drinks and dancing. It's the perfect place to interact with locals and other travelers. Muchas gracias for having me, was a pleasure 🤗

Foi uma ótima experiência. Dona Edith e senhor Beto foram super flexíveis e acolhedores. As tarefas são básicas e os horários adaptados!! Os dias passaram voando.

I really enjoyed volunteering here! The hotel was lovely, and Miguel was very welcoming and helpful & his friends too. The room was a great place to stay too whilst discovering the beautiful island :)

Couldn't have hoped for a better first experience at Worldpackers. I was welcomed with open arms by Miguel and his lovely family at their hostel and bar. I worked closely with Miguel, a guy who was open to talk and worried not only about my work as a volunteer but also that I make the most of what the island has to offer. The work itself is not difficult and exhausting. It consisted of manual work (painting walls, cleaning, sanding wood) and serving at the bar. I hope one day to meet them again, it was a great week in Isabela. Will be missed.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was honestly amazing! This is a family run hostel and they all were super kind and accommodating and wanted me to enjoy this experience and most of all the island. They were flexible with my schedule so that I could partake in activities and had good recommendations. I learned and improved some Spanish while doing the easy tasks for the hostel/bar. Perfect location and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to see Isabella!

I had a great time at hostel the hostel. I worked a few hours everyday with Miguel at the bar the hostel has, and had the first part of the day free to do tours and explore the island. It's a really relaxing place, and the ocean view from the bar is to die for. The family is really nice and I will miss staying there!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'd definitely call it a great one. The owners, Beto, Edith, Miguel, and Fiorella were all very nice. The main tasks were helping at the bar, serving breakfast, painting, and cleaning. 5 hours of work is required each day (sometimes less), and that'd definitely leave you enough time to fully explore the island. The room I stayed in was very clean and spacious. The bar is located in a great location directly facing the beach, so it was really a pleasure working here. I highly recommend anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful Galápagos to work here.
