Malta is a beautiful country, perfect to be on summer time. The host is nice and flexible about schedule and time, although the place needs some improvement, as the house has some infiltration problems and it smells damp. If you want to learn and improve your Spanish Malta is also a good place as most of the people who lives there is from Latin America, specially the ones living in the house, the work is pretty easy and you can do it quickly, so you will have plenty free time to see Malta.

Foi a minha primeira experiência no Worldpackers. O trabalho e bem simple precisa manter a acomodação organizada, uma vez por semana eu dava um geral na acomodação dos meninos e das meninas. O resto era trocar as roupas de cama. Trabalho e bem flexível! Para quem quer aprender inglês tem a oportunidade de conseguir um desconto assim como eu, estudei um mês foi muito bom meu inglês melhorou bastante. Além de que na casa tem muito espanhol você pode aprender espanhol também. Malta e linda, como a ilha é pequena da pra fazer muita coisa perto, se você gosta de festa e o lugar certo!

This was my second experience with Worldpackers. The activities are simple and flexible: cleaning, receiving and helping with the organization. I had daily contact with English and Spanish, I improved my communication in both languages. The contact with all other residents was friendly, especially the Colombian girls s2. Thanks for all. As for the posters in the house that are not cool (improvement point), I agree with Middi, I also spoke to Pit, he seemed to understand.

Pit es una persona muy flexible, tranquilo y gentil. Las tareas son super faciles y queda realmente mucho tiempo para conocer la isla y aprender ingles, las tareas son de limpieza en général. Es posible conocer gente de todo el mundo en las guest houses de Pit, sobre todo franceses.

Pit is a very friendly host!!! The work is simple. Pit have 2 students house, but the 2 houses are very near and you need clean and keep. He is very flexible with the times. During my stay, it happened an infiltration problem in my room. I have a alergic problem than because this I went out before the combined time. I have one note: Pit was very friendly with everyone, than, some moments, it seemed to me that the house was a little lacking in leadership and control, it bothered me a little, but if you are more relaxed and prefer an environment without excessive rules, it will adapt well.

El voluntariado con Pit fue muy positivo ya que logré mejorar mi inglés en una escuela y gracias al voluntariado conseguí un buen descuento en el curso. La experiencia del voluntariado fue tal lo acordado, es un trabajo relajado ya que puedes modificar el orden de las tareas sin problemas y amoldarlas a tus necesidades.

The job is easy, not many hours and Pit (Pedro) is very easy going, volunteers' room is not good though. Signs around the houses are now gender neutral (when pointed out to Pit that they were sexist, he claimed that he had not done it on purpose, which I believe, but he laughed out loud about it, which it was very unrespecful). Houses have the plan to start recycling soon, hopefully. Pit sometimes lacks organisation, although he tends to be flexible regarding work duties. A lot of free time. Overall I enjoyed my time in Malta.

Si estás pensando en realizar un voluntariado; no lo dudes! Pitt es muy buen anfitrión es flexible, puedes acomodarte los horarios como tu prefieras , él no tiene ningún problema, debes mantener el lugar limpio y hacer la cena para los estudiantes que suelen ser entre 4 o 5 Tienes todo el día libre y te dan descuentos en cursos de inglés; la ubicación es inmejorable puedes ir caminando a todos lados. Solo trabajas pocas horas es un voluntariado de verdad; no es trabajo duro.
