My stay at the hostel was wonderful, full of great encounters, the team integrated me straight away and helped me a lot to improve my Portuguese. The work there is not very complicated and allows you to meet and talk with people ! Life there is very pleasant. There is a dormitory for volunteers, toilets, shower, changing room and kitchen everything is clean and modern. And the hostel is as close as possible to the ocean, it is literally in front. It is very pleasant to be able to surf there every day ! In short, I recommend this experience to everyone !

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue súper enriquecedora. Mis tareas como voluntaria consistieron en organizar actividades y trilhas para los huéspedes y conectar con ellos. Se respeto todo lo hablado previamente. Recreio es un lugar increíble para poder conectar con la cultura local de Brasil, surfear y tener una vida cerca del mar. Lo que más voy a extrañar es a todo el equipo y las personas que hacen del hostel un hogar. GRACIASSS!!!!!!

Já estou morrendo de saudades! A família o hostel é sensacional. Do pessoal da limpeza até os instrutores se surf, a vibe das pessoas que trabalham no Long faz a experiência ser ainda melhor. A Sol é um anjo, sempre muito atenciosa e preocupada com o bem estar da equipe. Conheci pessoas do mundo todo e construí novos laços que quero levar pra vida!! Logo logo to de volta!!!

O hostel é um lugar incrível! De frente para o mar, hostel limpo, organizado, equipe gente boa demais. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Tudo que é combinado, é cumprido. Os hóspedes são sempre nessa vibe boa também. Só agradecer por poder ter feito parte desse lugar ❤️

My favorite volunteering experience ever! I had such a great time at the hostel! I loved the overall vibe of the hostel. The team is super nice and was very welcoming. The tasks were super easy and I was very flexible with the activities I had to organize. The working hours were also less than stated on Worldpackers. I'd love to come back to Recreio when going back to Rio. I already miss it!

Minha experiencia no hostel foi incrível, muito melhor do que eu imaginei. O lugar e incrível, a energia e as pessoas são surreais, pessoas que se tornaram família pra mim nos dois meses e meio que eu fiquei la, e que vou levar pra sempre comigo. O trabalho era tranquilo, seguindo o combinado, os hosts super compreensíveis e flexíveis quando necessário, o ambiente super divertido e acolhedor. Espero que todo mundo que passe pelo long tenha uma experiencia tao boa quanto a que eu tive!
