My stint at the eco village was absolutely fantastic! Victor was like a sustainability guru, welcoming me with open arms and a treasure trove of knowledge. The two of us really enjoyed our stay at the eco village. Victor and Lexie are genuine people and gracious hosts and have really put their all into making the eco village a permaculture project worth supporting. We especially appreciated their commitment to balancing work/relaxation - we had lots of time to hang out, rest, and explore the jungle together - and they're great cooks!

Volunteering at the eco village was truly a great experience. Victor has so much heart and passion for this project, it is truly inspiring. It was our first time volunteering and didn't know what to expect but the work was as the ad suggested. Our only suggestion is to improve the overall cleanliness the eco village place. Victor and Lexi have a lot of experience to share and talking to them was our favourite part because we learnt so much about the region, about Mexico and it's beautiful culture, politics, food, flaura and fauna and the list can go on. We would recommend it!

My experience in this volunteer program was quite good... the tasks I did were simple, such as feeding the animals, cleaning the land, construction work, planting the eco village, housework, etc. You learn a lot about life in the Mayan jungle and the skills you need to live there. Victor is a good host, he is flexible, understanding and fun.

Victor es un gran anfitrión, es una persona muy atenta y cocina delicioso. El voluntariado en general es estar en contacto con la naturaleza, literalmente es vivir en la selva. En general me encanto la confianza que tuve con Víctor nunca pensé que fuera a formar una relación tan cool con el.

Definitivamente es toda una experiencia, Víctor y Lexie son grandes anfitriones además de que se tienen buenas platicas. Les deseo mucho éxito en su proyecto. Literalmente estarás en la selva maya así que si te gustan los animales y las aventuras esto es para ti: en la granja podrán ver perros gatos, caballos, peces, patos, gallinas, etc. Las personas de la comunidad son muy acogedoras y amables tanto que puedes unirteles para que te enseñan de lo mucho que saben. Las actividades son sencillas aunque hay algunas que si no estas acostumbrado a hacerlas pueden resultar un poco cansadas.

Me gusto mucho la experiencia allá, aprendí mucho sobre el cuidado del maíz, el cuidado de los animales, etc. Víctor es un muy buen anfitrión, muy amigable y súper extrovertido. De los mejores lugares para conectar con la naturaleza y pasar tiempo con animalitos increíbles.
