Overall this was not a terrible experience, but it was my first with WorldPackers, and what the host offers on the website was not reality. The position lacks structure and direction, as well as communication and leadership from the host. This B&B is very isolated, so the opportunity to explore during time off is extremely limited unless you have your own transportation, or find someone to drive you and pick you up from a train station. Matteo is kind and has a lovely family. The opportunity to interact with the other volunteers was a way to make friends for life.

It was quite a good experience, my friend and I spent two weeks immersed in Italian culture. The family and co-workers were kind to us, we felt as part of the team. Schedules can be arranged with the host and the days off are respected. The place is stunning even though it's quite isolated and it can be a bit hard to get to the supermarket or visit other places. We had plenty of space in our room but it wasn't exactly private, it was connected by the ceiling with the owners' house. If you have a problem they'll try to find a solution to make you feel comfortable. Thank you so much!

I had a great experience in the guest house The host is very kind and his family is lovely, I feel that I really made friends I felt very wellcomed in their home The work is intense, but the work hours can be arrenged And the place is beautiful, with an amazing view

Volunteering at the guest house was pleasure. The tasks were all fairly relaxed and evenly split between volunteers The mix of friends and family members all working simultaneously for aspects of the B&B adds a real homely environment, you feel as though you become part of their family :) Time off can be spent by the pool, with other volunteers or on walks Although days off will require more planning as the area is quite remote (you can always find a lift from someone though) I have so many nice memories from my time here I hope we stay in touch :))
