Volunteering at One Fam the hostel was a wonderful experience! Tasks were easy to do, timetables were flexible and always discussed with us beforehand,and the hosts were very welcoming and understanding, especially Heloisa, Arthur and Yule. Other than that, the whole experience was just great. The hostel attracts people from many places and it's your job to interact and have fun with them while exploring the city and its events, so perfect for a vacation and meeting new friends. Especially living with the other volunteers was super cool. Overall, as a first worldpackers experience, 10/10!

My experience in the hostel was amazing! I realy enjoyed there, met a lot of people from differents countrys an had a great time with the team.. the hostel and the vibe is so cool, this experience was a great time going out and having fun with the guests and exploring Porto! I love it :)

I had a great time at the hostel Porto and met some really amazing people who I now consider my best friends, both volunteers and guests! It was a perfect opportunity to meet people with similar interests from all over and the hostel has a fun vibe. The workload is manageable and all the shifts are super chill. Overall I'd recommend it and would consider coming back:)

I loved my time at the hostel Porto, the hostel is super social and it was so easy to meet new people. The team is really great and organized and was always there for me. I highly recommend this experience, you will create so many great memories!

I had the most amazing experience volunteering at the hostel! From the moment I stepped in the door I felt right at home. The reception team is incredibly helpful and professional and the volunteers are so supportive of each other in the work. I had the opportunity to experience the best of Porto through this hostel while finding genuine friendship between both the guests and the other volunteers. If you're into the party lifestyle I cannot recommend this place enough. I would have stayed longer if I could!

I had the best time ever in the hostel! Everyone was so welcoming and kind :) the work wasn't too difficult and was definitely worth the stay. Mel is such a great manager and keeps the hostel in the best shape. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about my experience, and I think that speaks for itself 😋

The hostel was the best first volunteering experience I could have asked for! The whole staff was wonderful and the volunteers Mel picks are the best, I really felt like family with my group. Also a wonderful way to meet people from everywhere around the world. Loved every day I spent there!

Working at the hostel was definitely an unforgettable experience. I had so so so much fun every single day meeting all the amazing guests that came to the hostel, as well as bonding with all the other amazing volunteers working alongside me. The work can get a bit overwhelming as there is always something going on at the hostel and there's little time to rest but once you settle down and find a balance between work and personal time it becomes much more easygoing. Porto is a BEAUTIFUL city and the people are some of the friendliest locals I've met anywhere.

This experience was amazing! At the start the jobs felt a bit overwhelming, but with practice and support from the other volunteers it became easier. The party shifts are always fun and such a great way to meet travelers. The host Mel is a great balance of a being a manager who gets the job done and also being someone to support you and have a laugh with. I had my ups and downs during my stay but overall I learned a lot, made so many friends, shared laughs and stories, and that's all I could ever ask for!

Working at the hostel was an incredible experience. Not only were all the receptionists and Mel very nice, but you got on really quickly with the other volunteers. I have found a second family here that I will carry in my heart forever! The hostel is perfect for people who like to socialise and party, as you have the opportunity to party and play drinking games every night! The working hours were always respected and Mel did her best to make everyone feel comfortable. I would come back anytime. <3
