Castle Park it's a beautiful hotel and restaurant located 1.2 km away from town they provide everything you need for your stay, the work at the kitchen is basically to be a dishwasher and sometimes it's hard to communicate with the team since they do not speak English only Albania, while Alma it's occupied with a lot of matters.

Volunteering in Hotel Castle Park was great! We had a real immersive experience in the eco village local culture, language and food. All people were very nice and helpful with us :) We made friends for a hole life there! Specially thanks to: Sila, Tefta, Leda, Olla, Vera, Barije, Dava, Xhoel, Reni, Said, Santi, Bona, Genti, Alma and all her family :D

Alma was a great host, she helped us when we got in Berat, giving us a ride. Everything was done accordingly to what was expected, work times, meals. The job in the kitchen was pretty simple, there was also some ironing & setting tables. The staff from the kitchen and the waiters were amazing & made us feel at home. Alma is very busy, but she'll answer back on WhatsApp in a couple of minutes or hours any question you might have. Reminder that the hotel is just a 1km walk from the city, but at night on the way back (uphill) it is pitch dark on the last 200m & deserted. Surely recommend it tho.
