Hello! I’m Awwad Al Zalabiah

I was born in the Wadi Rum Desert.
My family and I run a Bedouin camp within the Wadi Rum protected area. I am also a guide and I provide tours in the desert for our visitors to experience the best of Wadi Rum.
Our Camp is equipped with a dining area, and a shared bathroom with free toiletries and bidets, a shared lounge, barbecue facilities, and a terrace. Workawayers are also provided with a warm and comfortable tend that might be shared for up to two people and are free to use our common areas as well as our kitchen.

We will share with you the very best of the Bedouin lifestyle in our village and in the desert. Come and discover the silence and majesty of the desert. We would love to welcome you to the Desert Mars Camp & Tours in Wadi Rum Desert Area!

Aktivitäten & Schichten

You would learn a lot about Bedouin life and culture, traditions, and habits by listening to our Bedouin stories around the fireplace at dinner time. We sing Bedouin songs, cook in the fire delicious Bedouin traditional food, and explain our way of life to all our visitors at the Camp.
If you like animals you will be fascinated by our lovely camels. They are everywhere in the desert.

You would be able to enjoy the best of the Bedouin culture by staying at our Camp, attending to our tours and interacting with the locals and tourists.

We provide you a computer for work, 3 delicious meals a day and transportation up to Wadi Rum Village as you need.
