I had an amazing experience volunteering with this program! The host Russell was incredibly helpful, friendly and always made sure I felt comfortable throughout. As one of my first volunteer opportunities, it was a fantastic way to help locals practice English through the guest house. I loved meeting different people, including other volunteers as well, hearing their stories, and immersing myself in a calm, relaxing city. Overall, I highly recommend this program and would gladly do it again!

Had an amazing time even though I was only there for a short time. Met so many amazing people and had a lot of fun conversations with the locals. The people I lived with were amazing and Russel was truly an awesome and sweet guy. We were 8 people in the apartment at some point and it gets crowded especially with only one bathroom, but you get used to it quite quickly:)

I cannot express how grateful I'm that I could spend 2 weeks in the language studio. I had the best time in there and if I could I wish I would stay much longer. Russel is very caring person that is making sure everyone is having the best time and is able to fix every problem that comes in a way. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to enhance in local culture and make amazing friends along the way! I hope to come back one day. 😊

I had such a great experience in Daejeon, It's been a quite lovely surprise for me! Russell's a very nice and supportive host, the accomodation and other volunteers were very good and friendly, and the time spent sharing life experiences and talking about other topics with the locals were unforgettable! It's definetly an experience I would love to have again 😄

I recently had the privilege of participating in the program in Daejeon, South Korea, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of my life. The program was well-organized, offering a perfect balance between structured activities and free time. The accommodation is humble but cozy and you have provided basic food. The host Russell is really nice and caring. When you need something he is there to help. The conversations with Koreans were interesteing, especially if you love to communicate with people on different topics and you are interested in different culture.

I had a wonderful experience working in Daejeon, and would highly recommend this host to anyone. I felt immediately welcomed upon introduction and got to learn a lot through the admittedly short time I spent doing language the guest house. The accomodation was the best I had out of the three hostels I did while in South Korea, and the people I lived with were all such wonderful people. Doing language the guest house was an incredibly fun experience, as I met people from all walks of life, and formed meaningful connections along the way. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I had a great time in Daejeon. The working and cleaning schedules are made for every week, so all your responsibilities are known in advance. I enjoyed my stay and made Korean friends, which gives a much better local experience . The accommodation is very basic and small, and might be crowded when there are a lot of volunteers. I was lucky and had great people volunteering with me. I believe the experience is what you make it to be, and has great potential if you come with the right mindset. I would recommend this experience for anyone looking for a peaceful city and really great locals.

I had a wonderful time in Daejeon. The city is large and flat, perfect for long walks and the transportation is very efficient and comfortable. The work at the Studio is easy and pleasant, the students are very friendly, it's the perfect place if you are looking to interact with the locals and da the guest house. The accommodation is small with only one bathroom. The place provides ramen, bread, rice, eggs, fruits among others but they don't provide prepared food, you must make it, or if you want to buy it, there're so many delicious and cheap restaurants near to the accommodation.

This volunteering experience was great. Russell was always kind and responded to our needs quickly. Daejeon is a nice and peaceful city. The location of the apartment is convenient. The food is basic. It's an excellent opportunity to get to know locals and Korean culture.

A fantastic experience. The hours are adhered to as scheduled, and the work provides an invaluable opportunity to engage with the local residents. Daejeon is a beautiful, peaceful city surrounded by nature. Locals are really nice people. The accommodation is simple and small, but conveniently located very close to the work site. It's essential to respect the rules of community living to ensure a pleasant stay, as things can become quite difficult otherwise. The provided food is basic. I would undoubtedly volunteer again because the time spent here has been wonderful.
