You will work alongside a vibrant Kenyan Christian community, impacting our lives and theirs and returning with lasting memories. Volunteers begin by serving some of the most underprivileged and abandoned children in Kenya. These kids need caring volunteers to emulate and education. 5 Stunden Hilfe pro Tag

Kinderbetreuung: Betreuung von Kindern, mit ihnen spielen und Zeit verbringen.

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Sportunterricht: Unterrichten oder Unterstützen des Hosts, der Gäste oder lokaler Gemeinschaften beim Sport oder körperlichen Aktivitäten.

Sprachunterricht: Unterrichte eine Sprache für den Host, Gäste oder lokale Gemeinschaften.

Programmdetails

Medical and social work opportunities in Kenya allow you to give back to the community by lending your time to people, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions. You will perform your roles where the need is most urgent and your impact can be the greatest, helping with patients care and providing psycho-social assistance, participating in public health programs, and research and education projects. Above all, you will make a high impact difference with your participation and gain skills and experience that will help you achieve your goals.

Your daily will vary but may include:

a) Work with health professionals and community health care workers to fight diseases such as TB, HIV/AIDS, and cancer;
b) Nursing& patient care;
c) Training and mentoring local health care workers on medical issues; and
d) Educating patients on healthy lifestyles and life practices.
