We have a farm on the Sicilian hills, with a sight for the seaside! We have animals to take care of and fruit trees, vineyard, olive tree, and vegetable garden, so we have a lot of tasks to do, according to the season. If you have some experience with farm work, you are more than welcome to help and teach us some things as well. If you have no experience, but are willing to help and learn, you are also more than welcome! Work hard, play harder :)

Camping: Du wirst in einem Zelt auf einem Campingplatz schlafen.

Kostenlose Wäsche: Du kannst unseren Waschraum frei nutzen.

Nutze unsere ausgestattete Küche: Nutze gerne unsere Küche und bereite dein eigenes leckeres Essen zu.

Programmdetails

The farm is on the valley in front of the village, with chestnut tree, almonds tree, walnut tree, olive tree and some other fruit tree (figs, apricot, cherry). It is not a commercial farm and the family consumes everything that grows there. There is tent, a camping shower and toilet, and a cooking place available. It is not luxury, but it is more than enough having in mind that you are camping in a farm :)

We will take everything very easy, helping few hours, take a walk to see around the land, relax on the hammock, work a bit more, cooking the food (we are going to cook all the food in open fire that we will make ourselves). We probably will spend one or two days in the house at the village to take some nice shower and relax in a normal bed.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

- From April to September, you can help with the cleaning of the fruit tree.
- In the end of September, we usually need help for grape piking and wine making (all in the traditional way). For the olive season, we need help for the picking and you can experience the making of olive oil process.
- During the rest of the year November to March the volunteers can stay in the house at the seaside there is the possibility to give some help in the house for painting, building, etc.
