I'm Laura, I live in a beautiful place called Costa Esmeralda. I'm running a small beach house, cabin and camping vacation rental business, I'd love to share my simple lifestyle with people from all over the world and show a little bit of what it's like to live in a traditional Mexican beach area surrounded by nature. The team is always approachable, cheerful and we love to have any kind of cultural exchange.

Programmdetails

If you want to discover an authentic part of Mexico, this place is for you.

Costa Esmeralda is not a big turistic area so the traditions and culture are still very authentic.

Staying here, you will meet and live with a lot of local people happy to show you their ways to leave and their costumes.

Staying here you will enjoy the inmersity of nature and being almost off grid. We have a beautiful garden where you can relax youself and of course, the beach. When the house is not rented we also enjoy the house and the terrace.

You will have a homemade meal every day afterworks and we will provide you transportation to the local market every week so you can buy your groceries. Also you'll be able to use our common kitchen 24/7.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

We are building a wood cabin as the main project for the next months. This involves: working with tools (powered), being creative and analytic, having improvisation skills, carrying some planks and working outdoors.

It is a very high asset to have construction/building skills or experience.

The tasks in our house are simple and dynamic, some of the daily tasks are:

- Camping: Installing and equipping tents and camping area.
- Painting: walls in general and any kind of art.
- Gardening: Watering the garden and keeping it nice.
- Bon fires at the beach: Preparing bon fires for guest experiences and for everybody :)
- Romantic Dinners at the beach
- Building palapas with Palm trees.
- Cleaning the beach.
- Basic general maintainance at the house.
- Walking 2 times a day with 3 beautiful and friendly dogs.
