I had a great time volunteering at Will&the hostel. The work can be busy and tiring sometimes, but I really enjoyed my stay, and I ended up extending to four months. Some of my favourite nights were the staff trivia night, and staff pizza nights. Thank you to Deedee and Niek, and all the lovely volunteers I met ❤️

I stayed at the Will & the hostel for a month and I would absolutely do it all over again!! I've met some of the loveliest people from all over the world and made such amazing friendships. The entire work team is great and makes the work, that can be a bit hard at first, so much better. When the days were super busy, the work was a bit stressful, but with help from the others, it was for sure doable. Since you get 3 days off a week, everything is perfectly balanced. I am super happy that I chose to come here. I will cherish this experience all my life. Thank you all for the wonderful time!

It was my first volunteering, and It'll be hard to top. I connected with the staff and the other volunteers since day 1 and my one-month stay went by really fast. Some days are busier than others and the work is demanding, but you get used to it easily, and it really pays off. The conditions are great (work/hostel) and I would recommend it to everyone, as it is really close to the center of the hostel, and you can get anywhere in less than an hour by train. I will forever be grateful for the team and how they made me feel at home. I take with me really valuable friendships and experiences <3<3

This volunteering was the first I do, it is my first time in Europe and outside of my country. Absolutely everything is new to me, and I totally recommend this experience. Meeting new people from all over the world, different languages, cultures, new skills. The staff and other volunteers are beautiful people who help you, motivate you and are always available. You also meet new guests continuously who share talks, drinks, outings and the hostel has a super family atmosphere. I loved it in every way and definitely recommend it. Hopefully my next hostels will be like this or better Thx Nick

Fue mí primer voluntariado y mi primer experiencia en un hostel y realmente fue increíble. Las personas del hostel, la gente son todos muy amables y el clima que hay es muy lindo. Superó completamente mis expectativas, me llevo mucho aprendizaje y me permitió conocer excelentes personas. Por todo eso estoy muy agradecida con Nik y todos los que trabajan en el hostel, que siempre que pudieron me ayudaron. Ojalá todos tengan la posibilidad de vivir esta experiencia porque es única. Me llevo momentos muy lindos en mí corazón y espero volver algún día. Gracias Nik por todo!

Volunteering at King Kool was my first hostel experience but I can asure it will be one of the best I will live, mostly because of the people; staff, other volunteerings, guests, everyone is so nice and respectful. The work is really physical and serious however you get use to it and with help of others it become easier. I strongly recommend coming here, the hostel is also a nice the hostel (;

My experience at the hostel was amazing. It was my first volunteer experience! the staff is friendly and were very patient with my poor English :) and I improved a lot! I loved the hostel, super cozy and clean, excellent location! Den haag is really beautiful, and is very convenient to visit all of Holland! working hours are respected and you have a lot of free time! Sometimes the work can be hard, it requires precision and attention, especially about private rooms. I am really happy with this experience, and I recommend to everyone the hostel! Thanks!!!

Es un lugar donde si se quiere, se puede conectar con personas de todo el mundo. Compartir bromas, comidas, música... Me llevo algunos amigos especialmente invitados con los que hemos entablado una amistad familiar respetando y enrriqueciendonos en nuestras diferencias. Ha sido una experiencia amigable y colavorativa. respecto al trabajo decir que es genial poder terminar antes de lo acordado.. Es un lugar que te ofrece todo sin garantías, un lugar donde depende de uno mismo vivir diferentes experiencias. Gracias por haberme dejado ser parte del equipo. Vrijheid ✌️😉
