Muy buena mi experiencia en el the hostel, me tocó compañeros divinos, Tom es buena onda,, lugar simple, sin lujos pero, si buscas una vida simple cerca del mar y conectado con la naturaleza, este es el lugar:).

Mi estadía en el hostel fue muy buena, es un lugar tranquilo y muy próximo al mar. La ubicación es excelente, esta en el centro de puerto viejo. Tom es bastante flexible y siempre esta disponible para responder consultas, las tareas de recepción son sencillas . Se respetan los horarios y tareas acordadas. El grupo de voluntarios que se armo fue buenísimo! Gracias el hostel y a Tom por recibirme.

Fue muy linda la experiencia en el hostel. Las tareas de recepción son las básicas y hay otras que son súper sencillas, cualquier duda siempre está Tom bien predipuesto a ayudar. es flexible y muy comunicativo. realmente pasé un tiempo muy relajado en el hostel, rodeada de naturaleza y con el mar de patio. Recomiendo la experiencia.

Realmente era lo que esperaba, lugar muy cerca de la ciudad , de la playa , si venis a un lugar a pasarla bien y no fijarte en los detalles esta muy bien, tom es bastante flexible con los horarios y pueden tener una conversación sana , nos acepto con mi perrita ramona que eso es muy bueno , sin problemas. Las tareas a cumplir son de recepción y muy fácil, durante el día es mantener el orden y nada más. Los días libres pudimos conocer bastante.

The hostel is in a great location to access gorgeous beaches and the property itself is home to monkeys, sloths, and iguanas. If involved in the hostel work, it is easy work. If involved with the Finca, expect more physical labor. The work at the Finca was fun to learn new skills, however, information about the opportunity isn't accurate. In reality, you will need to travel 1 hour in total to arrive at the Finca. This involves a bus ride which you must pay at your own expense (1060 colones 1 way). For volunteers hoping to keep costs down this is a critical bit of information needed.

I arrived I was warned by the other volunteers that the bed I would be sleeping on has a sink hole in the middle.Tom didnt do anything about it.I was told it had been that way for months and multiple volunteers had informed him of the situation.I met other volunteers who told me that everything on the listing was a lie. Tom is very condescending and will probably say something bad about me but HE is the problem. Me and another volunteer left because the water is contaminated and he wouldnt provide clean water.Every volunteer and guest hates the hostel.WP bought me a place to stay when i left

The mattress as been changed as soon as I been informed about it didn't know about it before you, you told me you would like to camp so didn't rushed to change it when you were there. All the rest of the volunteers really love the experience you can see by the review it can't be a lie! The water filters got changed 2 days after I was informed about it, you just didn't want to buy water for a couple of days, told me your room is dirty when it's your responsibility to clean it. We are really down to earth hostel some people like it and some not, that want make the world so beautiful. Usually guests don't like it when they get a bad services from volunteers with a bad vide. A lot of lies in your review and its really a shame to misleading other travelers whole can really enjoy and learn from this experience but like I already told you you're Still a child, and that's what kids do telling lies and get Frustrated for nothing.

The place is in a beautifull location, next to the jungle and the beach. Its a great place to get to know a lot of travellers and really chill also. The host isn't there a lot of the time, but the work isn't that much so that's not a really big problem.
