Children will acquire basic skills like life skills and entrepreneurship during their stay at the center. The importance of having a center is to provide a nurturing environment for a child while they are away from the street

25 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Malen & Dekorieren: Hilfe beim Streichen oder Dekorieren der Einrichtung.

Bauen & Reparieren: Hilf bei verschiedenen Reparatur- oder Bauarbeiten.

Kinderbetreuung: Betreuung von Kindern, mit ihnen spielen und Zeit verbringen.

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Zusätzliche Gebühr erforderlich

Betrag: US$ 10 Pro Tag

Gebühr bezahlt für: Vorteile für Reisende

Beschreibung: We kindly ask all volunteers/interns to contribute a small amount of (USD 10) per day, this cash will support the host to provide you with the meals during your stay, and it will be paid directly to the host family or the person in charge of purchasing food for a charity/NGO.

Programmdetails

Program focuses:

The general objective of the project is to have a center for children’s temporary stay while family reunification is in progress. At the same time, the children will be transformed through the development of their skills.

Project Beneficiaries

The center will benefit 25 girls and 25 boys who live in a risky environment, a total of 50 children at once. However, as the successful reunification of children takes place, new children can continuously come in, allowing more street children to benefit from the center in the following years. The majority of homeless children fall within the range of 7 to 15, while youth aged 15 to 22 are also commonly affected.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

-Fundraise 10,000 € as a part of construction cost.
-Building and finish a center that can accommodate 50 children at once. it will provide basic social services (shelter, food, clothing) for 50 children at once.

-Enable eligible children to access education and health care.

-Reduce the number of street children in Bukoba.

-Reconnect street children with their families.

-Provide counseling and other social skills in the center.

-Support street children to go back to school.

-Support families of reconnected street children to make sure the children can stay in the family.
