Mi experiencia en el hostel fue increíble!! los demás voluntarios y los mánagers me acogieron desde el primer día y me sentí como en casa en muy poco tiempo, el trabajo es bastante físico pero solo 4h asique es perfecto para explorar Edimburgo e ir a los pubs😉. Definitivamente repetiría está experiencia, Edimburgo es mágico y me llevo conmigo amistades para toda la vida!💞

This was my first volunteering experience, and it truly has been more than I could have hoped for. The managers (Sergio, Sarah and Merche) make the hostel feel like a family. The volunteers I've shared this time with have been amazing, and I know I've made some really cool friends 🫶🏼✨ 100% recommend!

I loved my time at EBH! The team are so welcoming and I've made some great friends during my stay. Management is great and the housekeeping task were easy and expectations were clearly set. I hope to come back go EBH! :)

In the best location in Edinburgh, with nice people and fascinating Scotland culture, definitely worth to visit. The hostel vibe is more chill than partying, which I value a lot. Respectful and responsible manager and considerate volunteers, fair workloads and living space, highly recommended.

The time I spent here in Edinburgh could not have been better! I usually say that what makes the place are the people and thanks to Sergio and the other volunteers I was able to feel at home from the first day... it is impossible not to feel like a member of the family. Furthermore, all the guests were pleasant and the structure is excellent. The work for some may seem heavy for those who are not used to the cleaning routine. Furthermore, they respect the service hours. I would definitely go back without thinking twice!

This was my first volunteer, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I extended my stay for three more months because I felt so supported by both the volunteers and the staff. I treasure unforgettable experiences with people from all over the world. I learned a lot about all. The work is easy and flexible, you just have to put in the effort. Sergio and Merche are incredible as managers, but even more so as people. They're like the parents of the hostel. They take care of you and will do everything possible to make you feel good; I love them so much 😭😭❤️‍🩹 100% recomm

Lugar muito acolhedor com ótimas pessoas, não deixa nada a desejar, lugar bastante aconchegante e muito bem localizado. By far my best volunteering, the family atmosphere is priceless, completely respectful and polite hosts giving the best of themselves helping each of the volunteers as much as possible and opening the door to possibilities to improve in each job.

This was my first opportunity to volunteer abroad, and it didn't disappoint. I planned to stay only a month, but ended up extending for another month because of the location and the hostel, the people, and the enjoyable work environment. Sergio and Merci were both very friendly, organized and promoted a very professional working experience. It is very easy to make friends and meet new people in the hostel and in the city. I hope to come back soon.
