I am looking for a volunteer to help with cleaning, gardening, some house repairs (assisting me) in my 2 student houses in Oxford. The work is normally 5 mornings per week - Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri. 9.15 - 1.15
In return, I offer Accommodation (part-shared and part-single) and full meals 7 days, and my help with your English -and guidance for travel in UK. Weekends are your free time and London is only 1.5 hours by express bus every 10min

Programmdetails

You would work 5 mornings per week (not weekends) in house cleaning, gardening, and house repairs. I expect a good work attitude, helpful and friendly, and a basic knowledge of english especially common cleaning and building tools (eg broom or hammer). I treat everyone with respect and friendship and I expect the same in return and courtesy to my resident students.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

I have 2 properties and you would work in either one - basic cleaning duties like vacuuming, cleaning in kitchens and bathrooms and clearing rubbish. Gardening works include grass cutting, tree pruning and weeding. House repair jobs are variable but you would act as my assistant at all times. these could include painting, and other work that varies during the year. There may be some heavy work involved and this would be more suitable for a male person.

Regeln

The weekday work commences at 9.15am and I would wish you to maintain a 10.30pm curfew (weekdays) Weekends you are free to come and go as you wish. Laundry is available once per week, my full time student rooms are private. Smoking is prohibited inside the houses. The first week is a trial week - after this week we can discuss the length of your stay and whether to make any changes. I would advise you have a Back-up plan in case the length of your stay here needs to be adjusted.
