Best hostel in Puntarenas; the people are super nice and full of PURA VIDA. I'm very grateful and so happy to have gotten to know such an amazing crew at the hostel and Kinsu. Thanks to Isa, Joe, Fanny, Edu, Charmey, Angie, Jackie, Bella, Jeremy, Edwin, and probably some others I'm missing, but honestly, you make this place even better. You have to come and volunteer here in the hostel; you'll leave with such an amazing family . 🤍🌱🍀

Working at the hostel was the best experience I could've imagined! I especially loved connecting with the staff, they were so friendly, open, and willing to teach me my tasks. the hostel's facilities are unparalleled if you want to connect with nature, birdwatch, and see all sorts of flora and fauna. I definitely recommend this experience!

Absolutely loved my stay at the hostel. The staff - from Doña Bella y Fanny to Chinito, Charito, Mari y Joe - truly made me feel at home. Uvita now has a special place in my heart. In terms of work, everything was easy to do. You work 5h a day for 5 days and then you have two days off which gives you the flexibility to tour around Uvita or go to the towns nearby. Gracias equipo the hostel y Kinsu por los buenos momentos!!

So grateful to Eduardo and the staff who were all very warm and welcoming, and helped with my Spanish! My days consisted of housekeeping on some days from 7am-12pm. and waitressing other days at the restaurant next door from 4-9pm. we had 2 group meals for special occasions, but other than that, I cooked for myself. The gardening was raking leaves 1x/week. I did not work in the reception at all. The hostel is clean and very immersed in nature! There are lots of cool animals and other critters on site. Off site, there are activities like waterfalls, hiking, surfing, and relaxing on the beach.

I definetely loved the experience. The structure of the hostel is impeccable: the rooms, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the cleanliness and of course, the garden where you can see many animals. I felt so good since the first day and was a really good time to connect with myself. It was super hard to leave, I completely fell in love with the hostel and Uvita. I will definitely be back very soon. Thank you so much for everyone, you are a wonderful team <3

Trabajar como voluntaria en el hostel fue fenomenal! No exactamente por el trabajo - que era bastante sencillo y siempre en los horarios acordados - pero por el equipo increíble y toda amabilidad con la cual me acogerán al team. Gracias a Eduardo, Charmey, Angie, Fanny, Bella y Caro por todos los momentos Espero verlos pronto en Brasil o cuando vuelva a Costa Rica

WOW, this was my first volunteer with Worldpackers and I'm so glad I chose this place! Eduardo and the rest of the staff are so kind and easy going. The work is very simple and you still have time to do the things you want. The staff are great and can switch shifts with you if need be, they just want you to have a great time exploring Costa Rica! The hostel is beautiful and clean and you meet so many different people who are traveling all across Costa Rica, I became so close with so many different people traveling through. Trust me, you want to volunteer here!

I LOVED my experience here. When I arrived at the hostel everyone was really kind. I got to hear when I had my shifts and told me everything I could do in the area. My shifts were really nice: mostly cleaning. I practiced my Spanish with the local people that worked here which was super nice and they were really helpful to teach me words. I couldn't recommend this hostel enough!! The only thing is that you have to pay $7 for spending a day at the beach next to the hostel and I left a bit earlier because of that. But this has nothing to do with the hostel which was amazing!
