Julianna and Baraka have created an amazing school, where the kids just love to learn. My hubby and I stayed for 4 weeks and we had the best time. We spent the days assisting the teachers with their lessons (some of the classes have over 50 children in, so they definitely need an extra pair of hands!), either by helping with marking, checking homework or assisting withthe school. After school, we either walked into the local town or played with the kids. It's one of the best things we've ever done and I can whole heartedly recommend it. The kids will steal your heart!

I honestly can't put this experience into words. I originally planned to stay at the school for four weeks, but I ended up staying six. I left with tears in my eyes, because it was truly incredible. If you are thinking about coming here, do it! You are probably not going to regret it. Just be ready to give yourself a little time to settle in, get used to the local rhythm and learn how everything works at the school. The kids and the adults will absolutely steal your heart. A huge thanks from bottom of my heart to Juliana and Baraka. I'll never forget you two and your beautiful hearts❤️

I stayed at thethe the school for a month, and it was a wonderful experience. The school is big, with many children eager to learn, play, and dance, they are amazing! Juliana and Mr. Baraka are incredibly kind and always ready to organize any activity, clarify any doubts, and dedicate all their time and energy to the project. For volunteers, it is an incredible experience—the food is delicious and plentiful, and the rooms are clean. I highly recommend this place; you won't regret anything!

The only regret I have concerning this place is having to leave it. My experience at the schoolSchool exceeded all expectations I had - if you are looking for adventure, fulfilment and love, this is the place for you! The school is in a beautiful and culturally-rich location, and as a volunteer you feel extremely cared for, almost as if the place operates on a currency of love. The children are well-raised, intelligent, passionate and extremely supportive of each other...and so cute! They are a credit to the owners, who are the most generous and hardworking people. The kids were the best part about this experience. They are eager to learn, are very fun to spend time with. Flexibility is definitely important, as school schedules can occasionally change on short notice. If you're open-minded, creative, and full of ideas, you'll find a lot of room for initiative and personal input it will be appreciated. However, it's important to be aware that the experience currently lacks some basic structure. Clear work schedules are missing, and there is no designated person to guide or welcome new volunteers. It can leave you feeling a bit on your own.

Sin duda es la mejor elección que pude haber hecho. La inmersión local es total, la comunidad educativa, muy implicada , calidad humana en cada esquina de esta escuela. Volvería una y otra vez. Esos solo se pueden describir con la palabra AMOR en mayúsculas . Estoy segura que es una de las mayores experiencias educativas ,con la mayor inmersión cultural y local que podrás encontrar como voluntariado. I stayed almost 4 weeks atthe the school and had the best time ever. The work is great, you have many options to do so you can choose whichever fits you. I chose to teach in middle class together with an amazing teacher and some other volunteers. The kids are amazing and full of energy and love. Both the staff and Juliana & Baraka are welcoming people, making all the volunteers feel at home. I would recommend this experience to everyone who wants to contribute to a beautiful school and good cause. Next to that, I learned a lot from the local culture,visiting masaai villages😊💙
