Fue mí primera experiencia como Worldpaker y lo súper recomiendo. John es muy amable y atento, el b&b es cómodo y el trabajo es fácil de realizar. También te ayuda mucho con el idioma, y puedes conocer a personas de diferentes países y la cultura de Irlanda también. El lugar es hermoso 😍. Muy agradecida con John y la experiencia en general! Volvería sin dudar.

If you are wondering whether to apply for this volunteering, the answer is a big YES. The B&B has 5 rooms so the cleaning duties are very simple. The shifts are in the morning so you have the afternoons to explore the area or take the opportunity to unplug and relax surrounded by nature. To get there you have to take a bus Dub-Galway and Gal-Letterfrack (30€). John is a very kind man, with great culinary talents, very respectful and polite. Jonh: Thank you so much for making me feel part of the family, I hope that fate will cross our path again! It will be hard to beat this volunteer :)

It was my first experience and it exceeded my expectations. The time goes by very quickly. From the first moment you feel welcomed by John and the other volunteers. The tasks are easy and not heavy to do. The food is delicious and the beach is super close and beautiful. I would definitely recommend it.

My experience at castle house was amazing. John is a wonderful person, the tasks are easy and the place has everything you need to have a good experience. John's dinners are delicious, work hours and days off are respected by the host, on your days off you can go to Renvyle beach, climb the mountains in the area that have amazing views, go to Conemara national park or tour the nearby towns. I am very grateful for the experience at castle house, I felt very welcome and I made great friends, I highly recommend it.

My experience has been amazing here. I couldn't have asked for a better place to be at. Tully, Renvyle has captured my heart. About the host: Leaving John expert cooking skills aside, he is the most kind hearted Irish person I've met! Always looking after volunteers, going the extra mile for us and treating us like family. I'm so grateful. About the work: simply fun, fair hours, flexibility, never getting bored and easy tasks. I am beyond lucky to have found this place and stayed in the guest house with John and more amazing people all this time (I extended my time twice already). 🫶🏻

I had a good experience in this B&B. he place is very nice, the landscapes are beautiful. I really enjoyed learning about Irish culture. John is a good cooker and he gave me a lot of tips to visit around (he took me to the bus stop so I could visit somewhere else). Overall, I had a great experience and am grateful to have spent time there.

I really had a great experience at the guest house BnB! The place is amazing and you are surrounded by beautiful nature. The working hours were respected and also the tasks were the same as the ones shown in the profile. John is a great host and a genuine person and he always made me feel welcome. He cooked super good food as well! I can highly recommend this experience :)

I had a wonderful time staying in Tully and working in the guest house. John is really friendly and a warm-hearted person. He went out of his way to help me explore the area, show me the Irish culture and he cooked delicious meals. The work was exactly what it says on the profile. John often gave me Feedback throughout my time there, which helped me do the tasks correctly. I am grateful for the experience and glad to have made those memories.

I spent two weeks here as per agreements. The work is easy , the tasks are as described in the profile. The owner explains and teaches you how to do it. Schedules were respected. It starts at 9 am or 8 in the morning, for 5 hours.Jhon picked me up at the Letterfrack bus station. During the time spent there I went to visit some very beautiful places close to Tully, and the owner gave me his bike. Remember that it takes a spirit of adaptation, and that is not strictly a holiday. The places is a bit isolated, but into the amazing cliffs and close to the sea.

I am extreamly disapointed and very surprised to receive a negative review from Alessandra. I was under the impression that she was content during her stay and at no stage did she give me any feedback ,and if she had I would have tried to remedy whatever was bothering her. I totaly honoured my commitments as per my profile to her and I showed her good Irish hospitality as I do to every volunteer that comes to my house.
