Our classes consist children 8-12 years old that are late to early education. We request basic education in the English Language Arts, Basic Math, introduction to the Sciences, as well as YOUR PERSONAL PASSION!

We implore all volunteers to follow our universal curriculum, supplemented by their own passions. With this combination of personal resources, we can create a multifaceted educational system together.

25 Stunden Hilfe pro Woche

Sozialarbeit: Hilfe bei Freiwilligenarbeit in lokalen Projekten und Gemeinschaften.

Sportunterricht: Unterrichten oder Unterstützen des Hosts, der Gäste oder lokaler Gemeinschaften beim Sport oder körperlichen Aktivitäten.

Sprachunterricht: Unterrichte eine Sprache für den Host, Gäste oder lokale Gemeinschaften.

Zusätzliche Gebühr erforderlich

Betrag: US$ 129 Pro Woche

Gebühr bezahlt für: Vorteile für Reisende, Materialien für Freiwilligenaktivitäten und Spende an das Projekt

Beschreibung: All fees support the organization itself. Every penny goes directly to the Ornek Tahama Foundation. With your fee, we can provide income to our teachers, facility maintenance, agricultural sustainability, and overall growth. We do not take your fee/donation lightly. As a grassroots project, started by a handful of people around the world, we are forever grateful for your generous support of our immediate and long term goals.

Programmdetails

Our goal is to create a sustainable, self sufficient, thriving school system on behalf of local and foreign volunteers , student sponsorship from all over the globe, and sustainable onsite income, in the form agriculture. We also aid the local community in Shea Butter production and Cashew plantations, as a way to give back.

All of these factors play into our ethos as a sustainable volunteer opportunity, in which we expect our volunteers to not only teach our students, but give back to the community. With our local friends and supporters, this opportunity reaches far beyond our local school, but into Ghana as a whole.

Aktivitäten & Schichten

Typical 4-5 day work week.
A 6 hour teaching shifts, in conjunction with local teachers.
All classes are based in the shared-dormitory area.
Farming and livestock care as capable by volunteer.
